Make a Dior inspired jumper with me, but make it Queenly - Knitting VLOG 16
I've had this Christian Dior top on my inspiration board for years, and I finally decided to knit it! Brands are not really my thing, so I decided to make it my Knitting Queen jumper.
In this video, I'll show you how I drafted the jumper, mapped out the letters, and ripping back xxxx times. When will I learn to do better forward planning?

Happy birthday to mom! She is adorable!
This tee looks so gorgeous on you, Clare. I really appreciate seeing your trial and error, and ripping back to achieve your desired result. I think good problem solving skills are one of the most valuable skills for a knitter. Beautiful work! The favourite sweater you used as a prototype for measurements is also stunning. Thanks so much for making these vlogs and sharing them. You truly are an inspiration 💐

Thank you for your support as always Cathia.
The neckline in your classic striped jumper is so lovely. Could you please give a tutorial on how you accomplish such a beautiful join between the twisted ribbing and the body of the sweater? Thank You ❤

Bravo. It’s so good, loved the adventure you went on and the info about the decreases and how the Japanese patterns write it…. chefs kiss!! Those sleeves are so cute. Thanks for sharing, Karen ❤

Love your little video bomber. 🤭 Claire would you think about crocheting a star in fine cotton and sewing it in place?

That's a good idea. I might give that a try
OMGosh this is brilliant. I love lots of Italian designers and can’t spend so much. You have absolutely inspired me! I also love your Pink Fluffy Jumper. Is that pattern/texture created using ‘tuck’ stitches? I have the book, Dimensional Tuck Knitting by Tracy Purtscher and it looks like the same style of knitting. Something I’m ‘working up to as I’ve only been knitting for 4 years now. Anyway I love your videos they definitely inspire me.

Thank you for your message. The pink fluffly jumper was a couple of years ago and I had to go back to the pattern. They're actually cable stitches strategically placed, and they do look a bit like tuck stitches. I don't have the Dimensional Tuck book but I would like to get it some day.
