Make a Custom T Shirt with Spray Paint

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Make a custom t shirt using some enamel spray paint, stencils and an inexpensive shirt. You’ll see what I did to create a shirt that looks like an ammo box. The process is really easy and takes a day, maybe two if you have a complex design. Does the paint stay with the shirt? I’ve washed the shirt 4-5 times and that paints going nowhere.
Materials:
$5 tank top shirt
Foam core or flat board
Rustoleum white and yellow enamel paint

Scrap wood City Thanks! It was kind of fun. I'm eying other shirts I have. I might have to test a cotton blend to see how that turns out.

The heat-setting and first wash are for organic inks, I don't think spraypaints like it. Also, the thicker you spray it on, the crumbly-er it gets. The thinner the better for spraypaint

AdventuresInDIY Yeah, same here. 114º in PHX tomorrow. I put an A/C unit in the garage/shop a few years ago, so it's not so bad. Sometimes, when it's REALLY hot, it blows the 20A breaker, and it's the only thing on the circuit. Cheers! Chris.

Cactus Makeshop That is straight brutal. I've got a swamp cooler but it really doesn't help that much once it get closer to 110.
