Make a Chess Set in 3 Minutes (Blender Tutorial)

Фильм және анимация

As this video is very fast paced, I'll be releasing a more in-depth tutorial that breaks down the intricacies of modelling and the fluid simulation aspects as well. I hope you've found this video entertaining or at least a tad helpful :)
Thanks again for watching and supporting my channel!

    If you are having any trouble, he first takes the edge and extrudes it and then he scales the edge that he extruded.

    Ha ha! I was all ready to write a pathetic comment complaining that there’s no way this took three minutes and then I got to the horsey bit and I was in stitches and as everyone knows humour is the answer to everything so now instead I’m writing a comment to say thank for the entertainment. ❤️

    I know this was posted a really long time ago and the chances of you replying really quick are dim but can you tell me how did you give the pieces the crystal like shiny appearance in the animation

  • @MichaelQuinnMedia

    @MichaelQuinnMedia

    I would have used a glass bsdf material for the pieces and played around with the colour and transparency settings. Also, I rendered in Eevee and had a spotlight above the board which adds to the look.
