Ingredients:
1 cup Peanuts
1 cup Jaggery
1 tbsp Ghee
1/4 tsp Soda
Method:
Roast 1 cup of peanuts in a kadhai until they turn slightly dark. Transfer them to a plate and let them cool. Remove the peanut skins and crush them lightly. Set aside.
In the same kadhai, melt 1 cup of jaggery on low flame, stirring continuously. Once the jaggery turns dark, take a portion and add it to a bowl of water. If it forms a crispy stone-like texture, the jaggery is properly cooked.
Add 1 tbsp of ghee and 1/4 tsp of soda to the melted jaggery. Mix well.
Incorporate the crushed peanuts into the jaggery mixture, ensuring an even coating.
Transfer the mixture to a greased plate and spread it evenly cut the chikki into pieces and savor the delightful blend of flavors.
