Still remember seeing that Shadow squad set at Target during XMas 2013 or Summer 2014. Still regret not picking it up.

So far two Tuesdays have passed and we’ve only gotten the stormtrooper and prototype boba fett helmets which is good since they were on the list. I’m guessing the big ticket items will start to come in the week of and during the premiere dates of Ahsoka !

If they are "re-releases" they should be in the original boxes. They certainly don't have archive versions for the Deluxe sized ones. But with stuff like Anakin being Archive or not, your guess is as good as mine (and did the archive Anakin get photo real? if this is the red box is it gonna be photo real? would be weird in any combination i can think of).

Yeah I agree, the Walgreens _Clone Commander Obi_ is A great fig. Although I do like the updated CLONE WARS packaging (Target exclusive) _"General of the last Republic" Clone Commander Obi_ version alittle better.

It is strange that some of these are coming out in the red/black boxes

Im torn about these releases, on one hand I get to pick up some figures I missed out on but on the other hand I was hoping the ones I missed out on would get new versions of and now I dont see them doing so.

When has Black Series ever re-done a figure that already existed in the line? I can only think of R2 and Mando (getting a new sculpt for the Book of Boba Fett release)... Archive usually only gets new face paint (i know Boush Leia got longer legs or something). There is plenty of Original Trilogy stuff they could re-do so much better today.

Hasbro has been losing money for a while now esp with windowless packaging. I see this as an emergency play to generate more revenue immediately and it happens to be quite alright with the community

TVC keep$ going up though in Price. That last Target "OG Deco" Fett was like $20 w/ tax! And deluxe Paz (right now at Target) I believe is $27.99.. Which is more $$$ than your standard BS carded figure. It Might actually be the exact same price I paid for My _Best Buy_ Exclusive BS redeco Paz, A few years back!

That Anakin is garbage. I sold it a couple of years ago and used the money to buy the S.H. Figuarts Anakin cause I don't think they'll ever re-do that Anakin and if they do it will be at least 2 years out for the 20th anniversary of RoTS

Are the re releases going to be produced in their original boxes etc? I thought hasbro wanted to do away with plastic windows etc? Makes no sense that they would reproduce more things with windows when new stuff isn’t…

The old Jango sculpt needs to be scrapped. The new Boba has a much better sculpt and can easily be reused. Plus it's cheaper to have less molds in production not to mention the fact that a new Jango is wanted by alot of people

Word of advice: If you have the money to splurge on some figures you really like you can maybe buy a custom head. As for the body you can maybe l attempt to mod it to improve articulation.

I got into it because of Mando (+ Covid hobby) ...i collect everything Mando. Top of the shelf of course needs to be a ton of Troopers, there are more Clones than Stormies so 501st and 212th etc. are well represented by now ....Ali Express is also helping with that a lot these days. I wasn't a Fan of Kenobi... Andor was a good TV show but not very "Toy-etic", boring figs = SKIP. I already got Ahsoka because she was in Mando and its good figure, i don't know about the Show, feels more like Rebels 2.0 from the Trailers. Maybe Sabine Wren... maybe an updated Chopper for the Droid Display. ...but i'm not that into Rebels. OT and Prequel stuff ...would love to collect more of that, but most of them are OOOOLD sculpts, old articulation, Archive's look bad, i just can't bring myself to get excited about a lot of it. There are some good ones in-between, but there is a LOT of stuff that just needs modern releases. Landspeeder Luke, Hoth Luke+Han ... this all looks and feels ancient to me, then all the bad faces that don't look like the Actors. (i take anything with a Helmet). I have >100 Black Series on my shelf, i still don't have a good Luke, Leia, Han and Chewie SET (i got 2 random Lukes and one Han in Carbonite... a archive 3PO and SHF R2D2 ...no Leia, no Chewie yet)... AIN'T THAT NUTS?! It's a CRAWL and i just want one good display to represent the OT. ...and no, i'm not starting with Lando.

If they're re-running these,they BETTER have articulation and details that fit today's standards

Why would Hasbro not announce this at SDCC? It doesn't make sense. Yakface hasn't said shit about it. No way all of this is true.

Love how Hasbro was plastic free and let's scrap that and make a ton of plastic packaging re-releases. Not to mention sounds like they started production on this stuff before they announced they were going back to plastic. These releases are terrible

Yeah PFP is dead and not coming back. Sales must have dropped off hard for them to swing that decision around this fast. For tons of in-box collectors that must have been a convenient excuse to finally drop out of the line.

Fox is on it... he did not get a re-release either, all the other Clone Commanders did. So if we are applying common sense and logic, that means only REX is left so he must be next... but its Hasbro so who knows.
