@@t95mwp, my mistake. It turns out there are more expanded definitions of the term saqaliba. This word was also used in relation to Slavic tribes. Thanks for the info, I'll look into it.

Some.of the narrarives on Mahdi and Sufyani seem suspect, good to know, allahu alam but it will be evident if it happens

Dr. Dajjal is a major sign. Our prophet Mohammed(pbuh) "mistook" (Relative context) a man to be a dajjal. Now how do you justify that major sign would be obvious like a daylight? Please don't make your ignorance so obvious, rather humble yourself, seclude and contemplate. Salaamz

Prophet did not mistook him for Dajjal. If the scholars would have studied well and did their homework! We wouldn’t be in this situation. Prophet indicated that Dajjal has been released and Gog and Magog have been released in the life time of our prophet. Dajjal has 3 parts. He is in his final part then you can see him in human form.

@@Idkjk971 No. The prophet never made any claims as to the "release" of Yajuj and Majuj. What he specifically said was: The Prophet (ﷺ) got up from his sleep with a flushed red face and said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe to the Arabs, from the Great evil that is nearly approaching them. Today a gap has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this." (Sufyan illustrated by this forming the number 90 or 100 with his fingers.) It was asked, "Shall we be destroyed though there are righteous people among us?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Yes, if evil increased." The prophet made no claims as to the timing. We should be vigilant at all times for the end of times, but there is no need to jump the gun.

​@@anilnaik6046No, the prophet may have suspected Saf ibn Sayyad as Dajjal, but never made a firm determination on the matter. Saying otherwise would be a firm misrepresentation of what Muhammad pbuh stated.

Some of these people you got around sound way too Americanised and soft, as a Maturidi gaining knowledge from sheikh Asrar Rashid we’re taught to be tough and straight forward some of your students sound “liberal”.

@@ryanamalfitano7572 I said his students sound liberal and soft, nor sheikh Shadee Elmasry. I’ve listened to a lot of different podcasts of the sheikh and whenever I hear his students or whoever they are in the background comment or ask something it almost always sounds like they are bringing it up from a liberal point of view or just soft generally. I don’t get the same energy from Dr Shadee he is pretty direct and no nonsense.
