I would love to see Kane come to the leafs could be easy to do as he would accept a league 35 and older contract 775 thousand but incentive laiden deal that would add million and not affect the salary cap imagine a line of Kane Matthews marner

A bit of a pipe dream. No way the best US born player of all time finishes his career for a Canadian team. Albeit, I would definitely try to sign him if I were Treliving. $2m AAV or less all day long.

It is close to his home town of Buffalo, so maybe that’s the sweetener. Sabres aren’t quite ready for a Cup run just yet.
