Dating back to the 17th century, this villa belonged to the Medici family and is an elegant, well-maintained residence of approximately 1300 square metres with a historic garden.
Many of the original details, such as frescoes, beautiful coffered ceilings and original floors, have been very carefully preserved.
the villa is divided into several levels, served by a convenient lift as well as stairs.
On the basement level we find a SPA, while in the well-kept Italian-style garden we find statues and fountains, as well as several loggias and relaxation areas.
The ground floor consists of several lounges, a convivial kitchen area, an area for service personnel, an independent guest flat, the private, frescoed chapel and a large lemon house currently used as an office, and the various panoramic loggias with breathtaking views of the whole of Florence and its sunset on the horizon.
The second floor is used as a sleeping area, with some relaxation areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, a large loggia with a view and a further independent flat with its own entrance.
The marvellous 17th century Villa, which received the Queen of Holland on a visit in the past, is decorated with various frescoes, which we find on most of the walls and which have historical value.

Questa villa, risalente al XVII secolo, è appartenuta alla famiglia Medici ed è un'elegante residenza di circa 1300 mq con giardino storico, in ottimo stato di manutenzione.
Molti dei dettagli originali, come affreschi, splendidi soffitti a cassettoni e pavimenti originali, sono stati conservati in modo molto accurato.

Il piano terra è composto da più saloni, una zona cucina conviviale, una area per il personale di servizio, un appartamento indipendente per gli ospiti, la cappella privata e affrescata e una grande limonaia attualmente utilizzata come ufficio, e le varie logge panoramiche con vista mozzafiato su tutta Firenze e il suo tramonto all’orizzonte..
Il secondo piano è adibito a zona notte, con alcune aree relax, camere da letto, bagni, una grande loggia con vista e un ulteriore appartamento indipendente con ingresso indipendente.
La meravigliosa Villa del’600, che ha ricevuto in passato la Regina d’Olanda in visita, è decorata da svariati affreschi, che troviamo su gran parte delle mura e che hanno valore storico.

Amazing architecture and gorgeous view, I'd love to have those lemon trees in my garden in Kentucky. The cinematographic shots make you feel like you're walking inside that house in the middle of Tuscany. Good work guys 😍😍

I laughed out loud when she talked about the well manicured gardens and immediately walked by a corner shrub with little branches growing up hither thither and yon!!! The owners sure had a different decorating style with table tops cluttered with glassware of the same style filling them up! There were several items along the way I would like to have though!

It is quite busy for being a small airport, still there is a large distance from the villa to the airport
