I tried Gentle Fluidity Gold and I loved it but the performance was so poor. So I got a dupe, Bacarrat Gentle Gold or something along those lines. So beautiful. The performance is also not beast but I’m ok with it for the price. I can’t smell BR540. I mean I can but I think I’m anosmic to it. It happens to me sometimes. It took me a couple of years to smell Intense Cafe by Montale. Thank you for the review. ❤️❤️❤️

I love this house. I wear BR540 and GFG to work when I have business meetings, and in the spring/ summer. Grand Soir, OSM, and BR540E, I wear in the fall/ winter months. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sim, Marcus is adorable and needs to do some reviews- he seems to have a lot of opinions on MFK already. I have only smelled BR540 and unfortunately (or, fortunately for my wallet), it repulsed me. I have heard the same from a few friends. I have their discovery set and will be trying more, but for my tastes, to pay this price for a fragrance, the scent must be VERY unique, must perform at beast level, and must absolutely make my eyes roll back in my head. There’s just too much competition and at the moment, my ME fragrances are hitting it out of the park. BTW my best friend love love LOVES her Ylang in Gold with the engraved (limited edition) bottle, shipping overseas was super fast and she adores the fragrance; she is wearing it to work today, the day after receiving it! Thanks for the excellent reviews!

Hahahaha 😂 I agree. We can be the ME Fragrance Review Duo 😂😂😂 There are so many people who do not like BR540. It is quite polarizing. I know people who can barely smell it as well. I totally agree with the competition comparison. I miss the days when we just had a few releases a year and we knew what we wanted lol. Now we are so spoiled for choice dont you think? I am soooo happy your friend like Ylang in Gold. It is such a dreamy perfume. I love every minute is smell it ❤❤❤

Hi Sim!❤ I have samples of BR540, the original and the Extrait, and the Rose. I’m nose blind to all of them after 10 minutes! Other people can smell them but I can’t. I wear fragrance for ME to enjoy! If I can’t smell it, why bother wearing it 😢 You did such an excellent job reviewing all the fragrances. 😊 I just received Reminiscense Patchouli today. Reminds me of the old Hippie shops of the late 60s and early 70s. I’m old enough to have been there!😂 So nice to see you today!

Hey my Hun ❤❤❤ I totally agree with you. We have so many choices now and quality variation is no longer an issue. I personally did not like A La Rose at all. It is one of the fragrances which makes me dislike roses. I really want the Oud Satin Mood and BR540 Extrait. Is the extrait much different than the original? I wish I was in the hippie era lol. I think it would suit me if you know what I mean 😂😂😂 Do you think I will like Reminiscense Patchouli? It is like 35 dollars here for a 50ml only. Thanks for being there for me hun ❤❤❤

@@SiminShaikh I found the BR540 Extrait had enough of a difference. I liked it better.....while I could smell it!!! I received the Reminiscence Patchouli yesterday. I sprayed it on my hand, and I love it! And......let me tell you.....I can still smell it after nearly 24 hours!! And I washed dishes! It's a patchouli bomb but wonderful! I plan on spraying it on OUTSIDE!😂😂

Hiii...Since you love Gentle Fluidity Gold...then please try Barrakat Gentle Gold..dupe/twist from Fragrance World. They also have a Grand Soir dupe called Barrakat Ambre Eve which is wayy better than the Eternal oud. ❤

GFS and GFG have the same notes because Francis Kurkdjian wanted to show how it’s all about the blending and how you can get extremely different smelling fragrances just by varying the amounts of the ingredients. It was done deliberately!

I absolutely agree. It reminds me of the feeling you get standing at top of a dam in pitch dark in winter with stars in the sky. I know it is a super weird image, but that is exactly how I feel with it ❤❤❤

A la Rose does smell like BBW Rose as you mentioned to my nose😊

I love your ch because you tell it like it is. Plus you don't like rose scents & neither do I. It is funny that you felt the same way about a fragrance that I do. I also said the exact same thing about Porto Neroli by Maison & how it smells just like a urinal cake. Then after it dries down it smells like a floor cleaner only I have better smelling floor cleaners. LOL

Hello my lovely angel, I just re watched this and bought the flanker for gentle fluidity gold as this sounds right up my alley and is a touch different from my other ME perfumes, am I allowed to mention the flanker? I will as I could not afford Aussie $500 which was my cheapest option ( without tax and shipping to Tassie) , so I just ordered from a reputable store I bought before , Maison Fragrance World Barakkat Gentle Gold EDP Perfume which I researched and researched for weeks now. It is meant to be pretty similar and a really well blended beautiful perfume. It is meant to be just a touch sweeter but to me from what I read and heard it reminded me of all the perfumes you mention. It called out to me so strongly and will be my last perfume purchase for a long while but I had to order it come what may. I just felt it was perfect for how I feel right now. Hopefully getting this within 10 days or so max as it comes from the mainland. I am getting Viola today I think or tomorrow , cannot wait to smell that one. I hope you are feeling OK and sending love, healing light and cuddles to you and Markus and from our babies, love you , my sister in Dubai, from warm sunny Tasmania, Tia 😘😻❤

Hi my beautiful angel,❤ I just came online and saw to my surprise another wonderful video from you. Thank you so much. Of course you realize Markus was the cutest feline star of this video . Guess what happened , when he meowed I suddenly had Pushkin and Sunti run into the room, Pushkin on my lap, so I replayed this, Sunti came super close to the screen, looked at Markus and meowed back. I thought I have to get a video of this, got my camera and replayed it and being felines that do not like the camera they both acted as if they never reacted to Markus. I then went back to the video and re played Markus and both came back in, Sunti meowed from afar. OK, next time I keep the camera hidden and running 😂. Love Markus' sweet sounding meows, he is so beautiful and I think Pushkin and Sunti agreed. Now to the incredible perfumes. I love how honest you are, something we need in this world. I loved your description about Tilda Swinton and totally agree with you. Being an Aquarius I really wish I could own this perfume although I would not wear it that often, I feel. These perfumes are soooo expensive to get in Tassie so I am trying not fall in love with your descriptions of some of these incredible perfumes. I love all your descriptions and literally feel as if I am smelling them whilst you describe them. Thank you so much my hun, it is so lovely to watch your reviews. My very beautiful hun ❤ I love you so much. Your comments really warm my heart. Like your words knit a little muffler for my heart hehe. Markus hates being on the camera, and usually people get really shocked when their hear his voice. He looks like a grumpy grandpa but his voice is like this 😂😂😂 Sometimes when he calls out to me in feel he is saying "Maaaaa" loudly to get my attention coz he only does that with me and not Ali. What a deluded person I am 😂😂😂 Hahahaa I can imagine Pushkins and Sunti acting up hearing him. Maybe we should try and make Markus hear their voices as well. Audio date for the fur babies 😂😂😂 I agree these perfumes are super pricey. Especially when the clones cost so much lesser. But at the same time perfumes like Gentle Fluidity bow me away once in awhile. I will need a lot of luck to try and get my babies meow on camera, Sunti does this low ( he has a high sweet voice as does Pushkin though Sunti's sounds sweeter) sound when he wants to play, we think he is sort of chuckling, but he scared us the first time he did this, thought he was upset lol. No need to apologize, my hun. I am not going anywhere and am happy to see your videos . Love you so much and cannot tell you what your dear words mean to me. Hahahaa you cracked me up when you said how Sunti chuckled the first time and it scared you. I have heard that some cats growl when they are playfully stimulated. You know how cats are "stoic" lol. The first time Markus hissed at me, I cried lol. And I kept asking me, why did you do that to me. But then he started cleaning me by licking lol. Weirdo! 😅 When he runs in high speeds (zoomies) he does this sneeze/ grunt combo, which is the weirdest think ive heard. It is a power packed sound too, like a western cowboy spitting in a cup. I think he could afford to loose some weight like his mama 🤣🤣🤣

Sunti combines the zoomies with jumpies (he jumps up the wall at high speed and kicks himself off to go even faster ! 🤣😂) Our beloved Maine Coon Vunvee or Vunnie Bunnie (RIP) growled whenever he played. Never seriously as he kissed you in between growls. He was such a sweetheart. He scared me the first time he did this, he was a small kitten and yet such a big sound out of that small mouth 😄. They are all individuals and I love that. Yep, whoever said cats are stoic has never had a proper cat 😂or at least not one that I know 🙂😋. But we try to get this low sound as it is not a growl but almost a meow that is so low, not even sure how he does this with his ' high ' voice ( Gerry keeps telling me he would make an awesome singer, such a range and pure voice 😂) but it does sounds so excited and happy. Vunvee also had a chuckle sound, different again, it did sound like he was laughing. He loved water and when we got the water hose out and I mistakenly sprayed him so then we began a game every time and he would act like a child running into the spray in and out and chuckling, that precious dear boy. ( Our cats are indoor cats but have harness and can come out with us in our garden and have the balcony as well although our orange kitties are not allowed much sun as they can develop skin cancer so quickly, Gerry had all windows protected for them 😍, love that he loves our babies as much as I do and loves animals in general as much as I do as well) .Markus' sneeze grunt combo sounds sooooo cute. Love the sound of that, made me laugh even harder thinking of a western cowboy spitting in a cup. ( Made funnier by having watched the ~Yellowstone ~ Origin series recently, 1883 and 1923, which we loved). You and Markus are purr fect, no weight loss is needed to make you more beautiful ♥♥. I was under the shower when I realized that although Sunti does not do this cute power packed sound that Markus does ( we both have to try and get this on camera or audio ) but he does this snappy loud sound when he tries to catch toys, "Haappp Haappp" which can sound pretty loud and forceful, he has a small mouth compared to Pushkin who has a big face with huge eyes and Pushkin is also so much more solid built than Sunti, who never has extra weight due to all his playtimes. Sorry about the long comment once again. 😅I just cannot stop it. Love you. POD is Ajmal Sacrifice 😍. I really wanted to like BR540 but I hate the way it smells on me 😢

I'm not a fan of Baccarat Rouge 540. I tried smelling it on the mall on two different times. On my first time, it smelt faint. Then on my recent attempt, it suddenly smelt sticky sweet. After that second attempt and the same experience with Montale Chocolate Greedy, I realize that I'm not a fan of sticky sweet scents.

Heya hun ❤ You know its funny how this perfume especially reacts so differently on everyone. There are dupes of this perfume that I can barely smell. BR540 to me smells like burnt sugar (your sticky description, fits best) with some ozonic nuances. But it also changes weather to weather. I dont know if that is genius or veryyyy risky.
