My wife has a classic 1987 that we restored during the early months of the covid pandemic. We purchased it with still the original (decayed) tires on it...barely ridden, but the seller had replaced the original handlebars, brake levers and stem with straight bar (no drops), and discarded the originals! It is now her favorite bike. She was actually brought to tears watching this inspirational video. Thank you so much for uploading it for all of us to enjoy!

Me ha emocionado lo que dices. Yo tenía una pinarello como esta pero con tubería assolo, estéticamente exacta, y con campagnolo record de 8v. Esas mismas cubiertas vittoria rojas a juego... Esos bujes record...y lo vendí todo para comprar algo como lo que tú comentas. Hecho de menos mi pinarellorecordroja, como mi mujer la llamaba. Ella tenía una contini... Todo era diferente antes. No hace tanto tiempo. Éramos muy felices con bicis de 8kg sin discos.

En el año 1986 en mi bici tenía ese asiento turbo modelo Bernard Hinault.👍👍

wow! .. un ensamblaje perfecto, hasta el último detalle dan como resultado esa belleza aunado al paisaje la hacen lucir mas bella, saludos

This was my very first Italian bike I built in 1988 with first gen- Campy Chorus. I thought I was a pro and was deviststed when I was hit by a motorist and folded the front in half. Thanks for this great memory though ....🙏

I have a Montello ‘85.It’s interesting how they went from an internal rear brake routing on the ‘85 to external on the ‘’86.

Beautiful job! I just built up a Pinarello Treviso frame from ca. 1993-94. But there are not many original parts left on it. The bike is built to be ridden, so the few original parts I have are kept safely in the workshop.

Pedro perico delgado uso esta misma bicicleta en 1985 en la vuelta a españa donde ganó la etapa de lagos de covadonga y manzana postobon en 1986 al mando de raul mesa usaron estae mismas bicicletas color azul

Hola me encantan estos vídeos, me acabo de suscribir al canal porque es un lujo ver estos trabajos. Me gustaría montar una clásica modernizada y he conseguido un cuadro Pinarello Stelvio con tubería Kens, creo que es un buen cuadro. Quería preguntar que qué trabajo se le hace a la caja de pedal iré en el minuto 1:20 del vídeo, esto es siempre necesario? La rosca debe siempre limpiarse o se hace por otra razón? Saludos

Ya me lo imaginaba… yo uso iMovie, que es más básico, pero algunos efectos como pasar rápido ciertas acciones mola mucho. Lo voy a mirar para instalarlo en el iMac. Gracias!!

Hola, tengo una windsor carrera sport del 82 gracias a tus videos he podido darle mantenimiento a mi bicicleta y los ajustes necesarios para que se maneje como debe ser, ya que aqui donde vivo los talleres que hay trabajan muy a prisa y no son meticulosos al hacer su trabajo y preferi hacerlo yo mismo tus videos han sido de mucha ayuda, tengo una duda técnica en cuanto a la posición del manillar en este tipo de bicicletas antiguas debe quedar hacia abajo asi como la del video o debe estar en donde mis manos puedan tomarlo? Las manetas estan a la par del tubo inferior pero si bajo las manos no las alcanzo espero me puedas orientar gracias y saludos desde México

Hola de nuevo Natalia, todos los componentes que lleva está bicicleta son originales del equipo Reynolds, por qué está bicicleta pertenecía a este equipo. Yo he pensado en cambiarle los pedales por unos campagnolo c-record 1 generación. Pero los aros Mavic ssc son los que llevaba este equipo en su época. Gracias de nuevo por dejarme tu comentario ; )
