Btw anyone who wants a different method/cheaper , I used L’Oréal hi colors dye , 117 copper , I put 1 part color 2 part conditioner and put it all over my hair for 45 mins and rinse with cold water :) you can buy all at Sally’s :) Also btw the hi colors for dark hair only don’t require bleach :)

So you fully mix the L’Oréal hi color with peroxide and then add the conditioner??

You are so stunningly beautiful!! I love your "Copper Locks"!! "Big Hugs" to all the beautiful red haired ladies!!
Thank you for the video! I want my hair this colour after lock down. I’ve stripped the black out of my hair at home but going to wait for the salons to open now. Definitely the shade like your hair in this video! Thank you for the product recommendations because I didn’t know where to start!

I love being this colour and even when it fades it is still lovely! Yes, a big colour change is definitely worth waiting for a salon! That is okay, I am so pleased this helped 😀 thank you for commenting! x

I've seen a hairdresser explaining that if you do it the way she is doing it makes the curls last longer, because the heat concentrates on the top of the hair strand, where it holds the weight of the hair
Love this color! Very helpful video. I just did mine this color and half of it already washed out 🤣
I’ve had copper hair for 7 years now , I love it. Unfortunately due to COVID lockdowns , the salons are closed so my dark brown roots are huge now, I feel like I’ve lost my spark without my copper hair

Fabulous!🤓
also use a leave in conditioner instead of a conditioner in shower, this way you are doing less scrubbing and rensing
did you ever find out what hair color your stylist uses on you? it’s beautiful!!

Thank you 🥰 I do love it, although rocking lockdown fade & roots right now!!
Copper will always fade, it will never look the same after a few weeks, that's typically for copper. I colored my hair copper 2 years ago not knowing this, and not knowing that it's nearly impossible to get the color out. A week ago I went to a salon to take the color out, and after several rounds it turned light yellow and orange at the back. That's the best they could do. The hairdresser toned it dark blond to cover the color and colored it blond where the grey had started to grow out. The matter of fact is I never would have gone for copper had I known this beforehand. Now I need to wear a hat in the summer to keep the blond tone for longer, and repeat the toning every 3 months or so till the hair grows out, about 3 years. Copper is a warm tone, but take a look at your wardrobe before you decide for this color and ask yourself if you are prepared to buy a whole new wardrobe.
Oh my goodness your hair color is the exact color I want!! I have brown hair so I’m thinking I need to bleach it first and then hit it with a copper. 🤔

@@naomiwatt2107 what do they use instead of bleach?

A lot of color processes don’t require bleach. It depends on the level of your hair, but generally the misconception is that bleach has to be used to achieve a color lighter than your own. Developer 20vol, 30vol and even 40-50 (rarely used except for platinums 😅) all loft a certain amount while also depositing color. 20 is meant for a little lift and for Greys. 30 is for more of a high lift and deposit. This is why colorists are so cool bc depending on what you’ve got on your head to work with they basically math the color wheel and achieve the end result with developer and different levels of color (which obviously you can mix different colors to achieve different looks) sorry for rambling! You’ll save yourself a lot of damage by not relying on bleach for lifting all the time 😊
Lol the way you curl your hair is so funny haha!
She did say she only wanted to curl the middle of her hair . I had never seen that technique of curling the hair . Is a different way and it came out looking pretty 😍 after though
Is henna too orange of a color payoff? It works better than the salon colors they use
Don’t brush until hair is dry lol. That’s impossible for me. I have curly hair and as soon as it starts to dry I can’t touch it or else it would be a frizz mess 😭
