I purchased mine yesterday and I used the better homes and garden wax melts. I used one piece in the sandalwood and vanilla fragrance. It took about 10 minutes for smell to fill the air but so far so good. I do have off brand melts I want to try and see how they work. Your review was very detailed and informative. Thank you!

i think this is the 'new model' with a lower watt light bulb doing the work. the other ceramic wax warmers have a 25 watt bulb but are more expensive ($15-$20). This review and comments guided me towards buying a different, more expensive, wax warmer. Thanks!

I have 2 of these and for easy clean up use foil cupcake liners. Lime and Eucalyptus wax cubes are my go to scents.

I bought two today but one was bought cracked and I had no idea until I got home so I'm taking it to be exchanged tomorrow. So EXCITED to start my wax warmer journey 🤗

How many watts this warmer has ? They use to be 24 watts

I dont know how long these have been out on the market, but I just bought my first one today from Walmart . I bought exact same one as u except its blue but it wont melt the waxes at all and wont warm up. I am using apple cinnamon to fragrance my home.

It takes around 10-15 minutes to melt the wax as it does it slowly and safely. Apple cinnamon is LIT-ER-A-LLY my wife's fav scent so awesome choice there. If its still not working, just return it and get a new one if you can. It's worth it. I've had mine for a couple years now and its still going strong. Thanks for commenting and #StaySafe

I got both colors and having same problem , the wax is only partly melted after hours ! I was think because it's only a lower wattage ! Now I'm looking for a 20 watt or more !

How do u change bulbs

I'm not 100% sure but I don't see why not. Oils should have a much higher boiling point than the warmer can heat up to reach. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and #StaySafe

A lot of these things have dials on the leads, can you adjust the power with it?.., or it is just on and off (which would make no sense - they would just use a switch in that case)...

@@ASMRyouVEGANyet Thanks. I found out people make things called Incense burners - which look similar to wax warmers, but have a dial for temperature.

I bought mine tonight. Plugged in for about 3 hours now and the wax didn't even start to melt!!! The unit is hot but the top tray doesn't get hot. I'm going to return mine. I think it's garbage.

I honestly have no idea what the wattage of the little bulb is. It is an LED bulb if that helps any. If you're asking because you're looking to replace the bulb, you might as well just buy a whole new unit seeing how they're only $7 on Walmart.com right now and it'll probably cost you more to try and fix it. Just bought mine today so it’s been 2 hours now since I had cubes in .... my whole family and I dosent smell it unless were real close to it. Any suggestions how to have the whole home smell good?

Another person had the same problem. Maybe it's the cubes you're using. I use the ones from Walmart. They're inexpensive and they are very fragrant. If that doesn't work, I also use the ones from bath & body works. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching and #StaySafe

Sometimes you gotta spend more on quality waxes. Some of the cheap ones have large batches and the fragrance does not get mixed in equally.

Bought one yesterday and can’t smell it until you walk directly in front of it. Looking for my box now to return!

I wouldn't return it just yet. Maybe it's just that the quality of scented wax that you're using isn't very strong. I buy the ones from Walmart. They're inexpensive and will have the whole floor of your home smelling nice. I hope that helps. Thanks for commenting and #StaySafe

I legit thought this was a video to replace the bulb. But now that I'm here, try some expensive waxes. Lots of websites snd even Etsy have great wax melts with very unique fragrances. I started with the cheap Walmart ones and still use them but I also splurge on the expensive ones for special occasions.

I leave mine on all the time. No worries. It's not hot enough to cause any problems

Mine doesn't melt it mostly stayed hard it barely got hot I'm returning it

I got mine for 7 bucks. It’s absolutely is Terrible the wax isn’t even melted. It’s like clumps and looks nasty. Lol. I mean for 7 bucks I get it. I think my bulb is shot. Can’t even open it up.
