I know part of your journey, when you started this hike, was for your therapy. I don't think you could possible understand how many others that you have helped during your journey. Your detailed videos, narrative, and honest dialog has been a major inspiration to so many. You continue to be an awesome spirit everyday. I am looking forward to spending the next 300 miles with you. Enjoy Maine!

WOW...282 miles left to Katahdin...then back to the Smoky Mountains section to complete those miles - Congratulations!
We’ve been watching you hike up the AT! Love feeling like we’re on trail seeing all the lakes and wildflowers. Hope you have lots of adventures in your life. You can do anything you set your mind to.
Congratulations on getting to Maine I have been following you since the beginning. Loved the journey captain wish you were getting there then turn around and hike south lol.i will miss watching your videos
Congratulations on reaching Maine! Woo hoo! You are getting closer to your goal. Been here following since the beginning in January and still here enjoying every video.
CJ you do the best job of showing what the trail is like than any other videos that I have ever watched. The AT in Southern Maine is a tough hike. When I hiked through there all I saw of it was where I was putting my feet. Your videos show me everything that I didn't get to see!! Thank you very much. Kanati (Kah-Nah-ti). The hunter in Cherokee

Agree! Hikers would be wise to watch his videos prior to hiking each section to get a good idea of what to expect.
Yea Buddy! This has been the absolute best KZread journey! Thank you for bringing us along so to speak! Your videography is amazing and you only have had time to improve it, which is awesome!
Man I really want to thank you for so diligently documenting and sharing your epic adventure. I’m all to familiar with a lot of your same past struggles and I think your on to something good with the adventure therapy. It is also just great, professionally done, entertainment for any outdoor enthusiast. And really puts some serious perspective on anyone thinking of attempting to hike the AT! Rock on Captain! (-);}
Congrats on the last state on the AT. Your videos are the best!
Congratulations on reaching Maine! 🎉🎆👌😎😜 Nice workout hike and not for the weak or faint at heart. Glad that your knees are holding up on you. You make it look easy, but those rocks and hills look quite challenging. Thanks for all that you do to create a great video and help us to visually see the beauty of nature and God's creation through your eyes. I've really enjoyed following you. Good night😴 Be careful, stay safe and enjoy the rest of your your Hike. 👌😎🙏💖
We are also so grateful that you are out there living the wilderness life and staying healthy . Enjoy and be safe ❤️
How does it feel to be within a few hundred + miles to Katahdin? Congratulations 🎉🎉 I've always wanted to visit Maine, starting when I was a kid. Your videos are the closest I've been to so far. Of course, I never thought about hiking the AT in Maine when I was a kid, but this is awesome. You're doing great!❤ You'll be there in no time. I have a feeling the time will go quickly, enjoy every bit of the journey. Another great video. Thanks for bringing us along ❤ ✌️🫶
Congrats, but I hope you go back and do the Smokies too. I'd like to see what it's like.
Thanks for showing all the beautiful forest and bog plants. So nice to the spring blossoms . Cotton grass, bog laurel, tea berries, Labrador tea. I’m enjoying following your hike!
Oh wow. I’ve been watching since January. You’ve got to turn around and start your journey SB. After all, you have the Smokies to complete. I want to hear your plans for after hiking. What a great adventure and I’m so proud of you for doing this work on yourself.
Congratulations on making into Maine, the last state 🎉
This was EASILY the muddiest section when I did it last year, glad to see it wasn't too bad for you. Hope some blueberries are ripe!
Maine!!!! You have become part goat!!! lol What a trail. You are sooo awesome! ❤❤❤❤❤
almost appears as if they say 'hey lets put the trail in this ancient rock avalanche area...'
I just read up on this section and its a northern extension of the White Mountains. Your next section is also considered very difficult and has been said to be the toughest mile on the AT (called the "killer mile" of all things). LOL It has been looking tough for sure!!! Also, yellow lady slippers are something I've wanted to find and haven't here in Virginia. That was lovely! We need a MOOSE!!! Hoping you'll see one soon.
🚶👟👟⛺🌞 you're doing awesome out there Captain Jack stay hydrated during this big heat wave just beautiful up there so grateful to be following a long your journey down to the last state 💯💪🏆🏆🏆🏆
Nice! I met Ody and Roady near Bennington VT back on Memorial Day. I also camped next to Solar as well. I'm glad they are doing ok.
The Whites actually continue into Maine for a while.
Fantastic.
You are our Maineman👍👍👍 K coming up.
Congrats Captain Jack; loving your videos!
Congrats on getting into Maine. The Whites actually do not end until you finish the Mahoosucs and get into Grafton notch. It’s not generally realized that they cross over into Maine
Man, New Hampshire has some of the most "Craggy" forests ! There's an area like that off of the Blue Ridge Parkway, in North Carolina...called "Craggy Gardens"...but most of the New Hampshire forest seems like that.
Here goes Maine. Jane you had any ticks on you so far? Happy trails.🤟🏻🥾🏔
What gat are you wearing? Is that a Shelta? I like the stiff brim.
Every time you pass a body of water it makes me think of all the potential panfish spots probably some fat hawgs too
Whats ur ETA to RT4 in Rangeley
CJ, you are so close. Don't rush through Maine, it's easier walking and more scenic. Enjoy the loons at sundown and the reflection of the sunrise in the pond. Do you have a plan for the Smokies?
