Minor chords??

Sir...why its nessasary to use chords? As i want to play raag on guitar, by one or two strings...so its possible to play guitar without using chords?

Yes, we can surely play guitar without chords. And in terms of Indian Classicals, only tabs are required in most cases. Nevertheless, it is advisable to learn about chords, not only to add versatility to your playing, but to sing and play bollywood songs with ease at event gatherings.
