Good present, however, there are 3 exceptions to the prohibition of the use of force. 1- Authorization by the United Nations security council persuant to chapter 7 of the UN Charter 2- Collective or individual self-defence pursuant to article 51 of the UN charter 3- Anticipatory (not pre empitve which is illegal) self-defence according to cusomary international law. (Caroline case).

Thank you for your comment. The video mentions that there are exceptions to the prohibition of the use of force, but since it is just an introductory lecture, I am not going into details.

Hello, could I ask that you please help me figure out the following issue of law “ even though the ICC does not make express provision for the doctrine of command responsibility , should it be read to include it in order to be consistent with International law? You help would be appreciated

Thank you for your comment. There is a difference between state responsibility and individual criminal responsibility. Could you specify the question?
