I think the reason they hate taylor is because shes too successful like every album release. She's releasing too much albums bc she can write and doesnt need songwriters to wait and also, ITS her job to release music. Not everyone can release multiple times and be successful like her. Not even a fan but i've heard evermore last year and i was hooked with her.

i’m gonna talk for myself, but i think it’s pretty normal to get sick and tired of some artist’s music after such a massive release. i’m not saying her music is not worth to be listened to, but after 2020 the world’s been a lil obsessed with her, we need a break. there are so many artists who deserve just as much attention.

What happened to ANTI was so unfair! It was released a few hours before the tracking week ended. So less than 1000 sales were registered. So around 460 first week sales and 11 million sales as of 2021 and it's still charting on the Billboard 200. Make it make sense! SMH.

I read that Samsung bought 1 million ANTI albums and gave them away for free (was part of a deal with Rihanna), and that Billboard didn't count those sales toward the charts.

@@x_Hayes_x yeah, Rihanna got 25 million dollars for that, but it impacted her sales since you could get the album for free (although the 1 million copies were gone in a few days, lmao).

Even Adele's songwriting is cliche but for Taylor, all her songs are diverse and have noteworthy lyrics like 'a dwindling mercurial high' which is so incredible!

Also, Victoria Monet has been a strong songwriting partner for ariana and she collaborated on sweetener and tun also i think.. And most importantly, God Is A Woman is a Camilla Cabello reject and it was supposed to be on Camilla's self titled 2017 album.

guessing they only counted those who debuted (solo only) after 2000 also the invisible stan twitter rule that stans will only acknowledge those who still are relevant in stan twitter. like there's a big difference between xtina flopping and katy flopping. katy flopping is more laughable (she gets dragged in popbase comments) than xtina's bc xtina has been there before we were born so we don't really know her all that well unless you're a 🚬 who look sh!t up. you'll notice it's a lot exclusive to those who were big stars in the early 2010s especially those with big fanbases. emphasis on the fanbase!! beyhive is strong as hell and they don't dwell too much on the past unlike others. it's like an intuition where if you get it, you get it. if you don't, you don't. if you know, you know.
