I was a kid when jagjit singh died, we were watching the news my papa n dadi were shedding tears, i was just looking at them. Papa couldn't sleep for many days even. My father n grandma r big lovers of music n I've listened classical songs my whole childhood. Would wake up to kishor kumar, car rides with jagjit singh. I have no words how grateful me n my sister both are, for the music they've introduced us to from such a young age . Im 18 now, n now ive realised many of my friends have actually missed alot on good music

On.the paper and mentioned it to me...i didn't know who he was back then...but now i feel sorrow for his death!

I'm from Bangladesh . I am listening the gazal of Gagjit singh from when I was 20yrs old . Now I am 60 . Till today I am listening his gazal with same interest . No change at all .

Eargasm at 2:32 for Violin, 4:46 for sitar, 7:18 for piano, entire song for rare elegant awesomeness :)

Since 1982 I listening the ghazals sung by Maestro Jagjit ji....but I have not attend any live concerts of sir ji

When I heard this first time, I couldn't resist my self from listening it the whole day. what an outstanding performance by Jagjit ji and his team. He was the only one of his kind. While listening him, I realize , we have lost the greatest jewel of India.

I don't believe some one can dislike this kind of gazals. Gazals are really so great if you can listen carefully atleast once.

Soul soothing voice and song. This song and the singer both have become immortal! One can be transported to his old times by listening to this melodic voice! Words fail to describe what feeling this song creates!
