@@shananshaikh5806 Ghulam Ali is just a common singer as there are several of others. There is nothing sort of extraordinary phenomenon; Same tunes; similar scale; with a slight change of variations. So he is good. While Khansahb remained serene and exquisitely sublime particularly in Ghazal Singing.

One can not differentiate between the two maestros easily. One need to have the sharp sense of finesse to figure out the difference. One has to understand the both and love the both as I do. Sorry for the fans of Ghulam Ali Sahab. Ghulam Ali saab lacks the mellowed sweet variations what are available here in plenty!

Unfortunately the classic music died with him. Manny Manny night and to this day without listening to his I cannot sleep. His voice give me energy to leave again. Cannot replace him with anyone ever again. 🇺🇸

That's what the connoisseurs of music use to call - brilliant and matchless singing style ! The great Mehdi Hassan Saab was just incredible - as an exponent of ghazal gayiki ! Oh, what a terrible loss it was ! It was as if the ROOH( SPIRIT) of ghazal gayiki had gone, along with his sad demise ! Sir, we are missing you badly !

I have been hearing Khan Sahab for over 40 years, simply soulful. Mesmerizing.

Mehdi sb and madam lata are the top singers of sub continent.

Mehdi Hasan sahib is the king of ghazal actually you will not find the words to truly appreciate his command on music.

Matchless singer. Such personalities seldom take birth. May his soul rest in eternal peace

My ( An Avid Listener) association with the great Khan Saab ( My Master ) through his divine creations is of 40 years standing ( since 1978 ). This time - tested relationship will continue till I bid adieu to this world. It seems, the great Mehdi Hassan Saab had cast a spell on me. I have been an ardent fan and avid listener of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab for the last 40 years since 1978 when I first came to know him through his divine creations and will remain so till I breathe ! I am now 68 years old ! The great Mehdi Hassan Saab is my all time favourite ! Listening to the divine voice of the great Khan Saab during the evening for hours on end on daily basis has been infusing a new lease of life and the will to live in me every day in and day out ! The feeling thereof is divine and can't be expressed in words ! It has raised my spiritual level by several notches up ! I will remain eternally grateful to the great Mehdi Hassan Saab for this peerless gift !

A beautiful ghazal. only Mehdi Hassan saheb can do justice by superbly presenting this ghazal making it a masterpiece.

It seems, my thirst for the great Khan Saab's soulful voice is insatiable! In this ghazal, the great Khan Saab had shown his worth as a master musician.His mastery over the raag bhairabi is, i ndeed, a treat to listen. ln this ghazal, the amazing range of his majestic voice came into full flow in rendering the various facets of the raag bhairabi. What an amazing singer he was! How did he create such masterpieces so effortlessly!

I had the faiz, honor and luck to attend live performance of Ustaz Mehdi Hasan khan twice... So effortless.. so perfect.. I was bedaad. The pleasure never diminished... addicting ghazals .. such perfection.

I listen to Ustad Mehedi Hussain, the God of Gazal, not only for Gazal, but to listen the beautiful presentation of Classical raga, as sung by Him in this gazal based on Bhairabi. God is great to send his Son like Hussain sab.

words can never express true intent of emotions but can be close. But when I want to say something about The Legend Gazal Singer Mehdi Hassan, worlds become Duffy and I'm remain speechless like always.

There is only singer in this world who can sing it oh my God! Such deep vocal range and high octave, this man has incredible ability to control his voice even better than Muhammad Rafi, Lata and Noor jahan. No body can sing a Ghzala like him. His way to catch breath, chest Resonance, chest voice, consonant, dynamics, exercise, flat, intonation, nasal and over breathing every thing is perfect 👌 A legend that will never born again! What's so special with the great Mehdi Hassan Saab was the fact that he had an uncanny ability - to catch the imagination of the listeners - while performing - by casting a web around them - and - carry them along with the rhythm - owing to - his magical voice and inimitable style of gayiki ! Such a resourceful singer will ever tread this path again in the world !

How right was the great John Fitzgerald Kennedy in his assessment in saying - "A man may die ; nations may rise and fall ; but an idea lives on !" In this backdrop, I hardly require any certification/accreditation/green signal/go ahead/rating from any quarter, whatsoever, for moving forward ; and the least, from a novice like this ! So, one should better keep one's own unsolicited advice/sermon/rating to oneself and obtain vicarious pleasure thereof with a view to satisfy one's own selfish ego ! Is that understood ! Someone should better understand it ! Last but never the least, I find utmost pleasure and satisfaction in commenting on important developments at the national and international levels in social media platforms like KZread ! Mehdi hasan has no parallel in Ghazal singing.Great singer .Great colkection .kudos U Tube

Those, who dislike this magnificent ghazal, may either have no music sense or they don't have a knack for good soulful music ! Because, under no stretch of imagination can this rendition of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab be treated as below par or substandard ! The style of gayiki of the great Khan Saab or for that matter, any other singer can't be bad simply because it doesn't suit the taste of a particular listener ! It's not fair to cast aspersions or pass any disparaging remark on something which is not within the grasp of someone or beyond someone's comprehension ! My humble advice to the nay sayers -- "If you don't like, kindly don't listen ! No one is under any sort of compulsion to listen" ! Let it be very loud and clear that still, there are millions of music lovers across the globe who can live and die with the soulful music of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab ! We cannot see God, but feel Him in some exceptional artist like Ustad Mehdi Hassan sab. I repeatedly listen to him; He is immortal in his creation of music.

मेहदी हसन साहब की गायकी तो जैसे रेशम का मलमली सफर है बस -- इस सिरे से उस सिरे तक तमाम ।"' सुर इश्वर है " जैसा कि उन्हो ने खुद एक बार कहा था उसी की परिपूर्ति उन की गायकी में होती है ! वे कोइ आदमी थोडे थे ? वे तो फरिश्ते थे !

This song is the best song I ever heard, simply perfection. That’s why he is Sahinsha ghazal

When too lonely to absorb the loneliness ghazals of Mehdi Hassan is sure to bring life back.

I am just speechless- his voice, his rendition of each word, his singing talent, knowledge of raags, voice range on low notes as well as high notes are astounding and unmateched. His singing is an Octavarium indeed! May Allah bless his soul!

Lots of nights, spent with his super-melodious voice! Just awesome. What a voice! I only cried just hearing the news of his demise as well as Jagjit jee! These two maestro, accompanied me so many nights, given me strength to live for the future! Sir jee, jahan bhi rahiye, khush rahiye, aur mehfil ko barkarar rakhiye ga! Salaam/Adaab!

मेहदी हसन साहब की आवाज इस दुनियाकी एक खबसूरत आवाज है , उनकी गझल गायीकी की बराबरी कोई कर ही नही सकता, अपने आपमे वो एक सर्वश्रेष्ठ गायक है ... हर शब्द नपा तुला और दिल को छू लेने वाला होता है... आप गझल गायक बन सकते पर दुसरे मेहदी हसन साहब नही बन सकते... 🙏🙏🙏
