The Mailboxes rock garden is kind of crazy when compared to an expert rock trail like Mile. I flew over the handlebars on the first part while hitting a 3 foot root drop. The second part is very jarring, it probably hits like a 50% grade, and is steeper than the first part. Somehow, I managed to clear the part (with putting a foot down). Granted, my bike didn't have much travel, nor did it have good breaks or tires. The rock garden is steeper than most rock garden trails I've seen thus far and is probably an expert-difficulty trail. Also, thanks for making this video, it was very well done.

We did not plan to go to Santa Cruz, it was raining in the bay area. It was a last-minute decision. Next time we will call you to go for a ride. Thanks

Yes they have always been allowed at Wilder and UCSC. They are no allowed at Demo flow but people still do.

Thanks for watching, typically everyone park's at the Santa Cruz Maintenance parking lot, on the corner of Gulf Club Dr and hwy9 . People do park near the trail but I don't know how to get there. I enjoy "torture" the climb to the trial 😁
