Corporate India needs to put pressure on parliamentarians to ensure there are more women on corporate boards, says Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra. She was speaking in response to a question posed by Valli Arunachalam, who has been fighting to get a seat on the Murugappa Board. "Corporate India should pull their weight with the government and lobby for what matters. Ask for your pound of flesh," Moitra said, at the special event 'Women of Power', organised by The News Minute and Naturals.
