Mahindra should have used longitudinal engine on this car, along with rear differential and 4wd transfer case. Monocoque is okay but rwd is must for a vehicle of this size. To put it simply, fwd can't handle 450 nm of torque. Need rwd with 4wd hardware, not awd.

Currently wishing for a performance sedan from Mahindra like the Octavia RS, at this prize point. It will make every other options out there seem nothing...

Faisal bhai since I own the new xuv 700 ax7 pet AT , I wanted to make one correction in your video . To go into the third row seats you don’t need to reach back to pull the lever , that is for the third seat passengers to get down . To get in the lever below which is used to recline adjustment should be pulled and held while simultaneously lifting the seat as soon as the back falls down and you can roll it over . It’s a bit of a hassle at first , but it’ works just fine once your familiar with it . Thank you

@@SunFlower-ts9ow RWD costs more than current price and will diminish the mileage. Already Petrol AT is giving only 7-8kmpl in city, if do go for RWD it will reduce to 5kmpl. As you may know, For RWD one should go for Crysta but it doesn’t come with Monocoque with decades of 5 gears only not 6. 😊

I am sure there are many people who'd like to buy this as a 5 seater car (as 7 seater is actually not very practical), but the issue is the best they can get is AX5 trim in 5 seater which is not value for money at all, plus it misses out on almost everything (right from ADAS to even rear parking camera!!). They should released AX7 trim for 5 seater version as well. AX5 doesn't even have cruise control, rear parking camera and electrically foldable ORVMs.

Waiting for SKODA SLAVIA review........

Mahindra has offered a fantastic product with the XUV 700, it's premium, has great features and the engines are powerful and punchy, and a really safe car!
