That was done a year back i guess now they have added cruise control reverse camera and also included steering mounted control in ax5,so i guess its the most vfm variant now as you save around 4 lakhs by going with ax5 instead of ax7

After 3 years it's not vfm anymore. Need tpms,steering mounted controls,ventilated seats, push button start/stop, keyless entry, 360 camera for the price

17.7 lakh is for petrol manual ax5 with 5 seat only and that too is missing critical safety feature like ESP. Petrol manual with ESP is ₹10k less than diesel manual ax5 5 seater manual. Petrol automatic AX5 does not have 7 seat option.

AX5 is good on paper but you still need to invest in aftermarket interior upgrades as hand rest on all door pads and central storage is hard plastic. These are basic needs to make driver and passenger feel comfortable on longer drives

Kerala tax is the highest, they loot people.

Automatic AC should be there at this price. Maruti has started giving this from base model.

Generally i tend to agree with your thinking and verdict about the models but from what ive seen and experienced theres no competition at this size at this price point even if you consider the AX7L or the AX7 after spending such an amount one would not want to be the owner of one model cheaper

Ax5 is a better deal than buying Creta Seltos but Mahindra has increased the prices too much. That's why Scorpio n is selling so much while XUV sales are slowing down. With proper pricing, features and proper face-lift XUV should do 10,000 sales per month but it's only doing 6000. Mahindra was lazy with the model year update. XUV looks outdated compared to Safari now.

Compare with harrier,creta SX o at the same price range

Still my AX5 DIESEL has not been delivered after 2.5 months of booking.. Strange.. Why advertise when you cant deliver Mahindra ??

I have seen more Hycross VX hybrid on road and AX7 on road in major cities in Andhra. If Toyota launches rumoured Hycross GX(O) then it could dent some AX5 petrol sales as both have almost same mileage. Toyota after sales is better than Mahindra
