Cancellation of booking also is a profitable business. Mahindra is not paying interest on deposit and making money. When someone cancels, it not only charges more as cancellation fees, but also mahinfta then doesn't have to sell car on introductory prices...leading to more profits for the company. Dealers also make money by selling cancelled cars...in many ways. All is happening with Mahindra's direct and indirect approval and involvement.

Yes in case of cancellation Thar RWD, introductory price is not extended to next customers on queue . So actually 10000 customers are not being offered introductory price as declared by Mahindra. BIG SCAM BY MAHINDRA THAR

It’s very unethical way of doing business when the company is not in a position to provide delivery and still take bookings with false commitments and wrong facts like chip shortage. They make you believe out of 100 people if one cancels the booking it’s in your favour and you are likely to get car of that cancelled customer.

yes i think its a scam to some extent. M&M should stop taking booking once they know their capacity to manufacture for next few months has reached 100%

common scam and bad practice followed by all manufacturers and their dealerships...there's a chain of agents doing all these deals. you covered most of it, there's one more point you didn't add that "every car in india is almost double-priced with manufactured with half quality" you can check for any universal car model that's sold in multiple countries....one more cars retire quickly in india only to boost the economy.

Vocal for local bol bol ke topi de rehe hai. All they do is use our sentiment to mint money. We need to understand, no matter what the brand is, they're not doing any charity. Don't fall for fake nationalism. Moment of silence for those, who wait for two years for a off the line car, in today day and age. At this rate, customers will move to a different brand (at least the sane ones) and Mahindra is going to be sitting on unsold stocks like the Z8L and the Xuv 700
