Congrats to LGY. Those last few points were great!

LGY's play does not inspire a lot of confidence. He looks like he could be beaten on any given day when a player plays above their expected level, the stability and ability to control the opponent is simply not there compared to other Chinese players. I feel relief when he wins... which is scary.

The reason being in this game was that Maharu's serves were very deceptive, very hard to read.

That applies to other Chinese nationals as well. Even the best players have their ups and downs.

@@allandario yes, the poster can argue they are not playing their best, but I just feel even the top dogs will have those days where the opponent is simply playing better than them. Nothing too surprising about that
