I have been practicing the TM and TM Siddhi Technique since 1977 and 1979 respectively, from the first meditation to now, the technique has been simple and easy to do. The results I have experienced are more fulfillment in my life and a natural tendency to go in a positive direction at all times. My life's path in the last 40+ years has been a progressive one and a successful one in all areas of my personal and professional life. That infinite silence I experience in meditation that first day has grown to encompass all of my being all the time in thick and thin times.

Robert Azensky you haven’t perceived that the goal of practising TM is to expand your level of consciousness until it reaches Unity consciousness, and that this has nothing to do with material success or personal relationships - that to achieve bliss-consciousness requires renouncing your material life altogether and living as God intended humans to be all along ?

  • @robertazensky425

John Lawrence um... I’m sure you mean... by entering into bliss consciousness or Unity Consciousness the material aspects of the world are not your concern anymore and all your actions are in accord with the laws of nature and nature provides all that is needed. But man is a social being and spiritual being. It is not necessary to renounce “Material” it is only by Transcendental Meditation one is still in the bliss of transcendental consciousness and all material aspects are thereby renounced automatically to experience the silence non active awareness, to immerse ones consciousness within the bliss of pure being. It is not necessary to renounce or create a mood or mind set, that’s all for good; but, by Transcending that is the renunciation required to achieve permanent Union in the divine light of pure consciousness. That is what Patanjali intended...

I've said it before and will say it again, the Beatles in their cultural influence connected vast areas of life, such as the rock movement and the transcendental meditation of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. When Lennon wrote Nothing's Gonna Change My World, the chorus - “Jai guru deva, om” - is a tribute to the Maharishi's personal guru (Guru Dev). It was noted that the Maharishi disputed the refrain, “nothing's gonna change my world,” because his world was completely changed by meditation.

If we have to wait for 25yrs of Sindhi practice then the world will be well lost and by then maybe human kind may descend into their ultimate destruction. We have been heading there for a while now. Maybe we should wait until we cease to exist as a species, then we will be termed capable of teaching. Wait! We will already have been gone from existence!

Whatever can open up your soul to realization- a moment/an incident/your own being's urge/ pilgrimage...anything which stokes up that fire in you beyond physicality with open up the realms of further dimensions- that u r THE WHOLE- one as CREATOR. We just need to realize that, it's not confined to any particular path. The calling could come in any way. "What u r seeking, has always been seeking u". And that Seeking was God...a realization that u r a lot more that this physical body & mind. And one needs to find it as one is here...🙏(dint intend that long comment, but nevermind 😊)

I started TM a month and a half ago and my 20 year old daughter came and asked me if she could go because I am so much calmer. I did not feel a difference but my family noticed it almost instantly. my husband loves that I do it. my 15 and 17 year old just started this weekend. my 15 year old loves it. my 17 is still skeptical. time will tell. Nonetheless, we seem to enjoy it. people can knock it, but I have tried Mindfulness, zen, etc. and this is the most effective right away. Thankful my family is involved.

@h living Can you learn life or love from books? Or do you "learn" this (better to say), or experience it from person to person, from heart to heart, from mind to mind? The "experience" of non-experiencing anymore, of no thoughts, no sensual perceptions, but the Self, being aware of the Self, beyond any thinking concept, just being and residing in the Stillness of the Heart - Self realization - is the result of being taught by an experienced and long time trained teacher. It takes only 5-6 hours on 4 following days. Even on the very first day you will realize your transcendental Self... and enjoy this natural state.

TM is another aspect of going back to the 60's era practices. Notice how yoga has become very popular again in the past ~5 years. Before that you didn't hear much about it. Same as Pilates, which was very popular late 50's/60's, then you never heard of until recently. TM is like this. You never heard anything for years, now people like Jerry Seinfeld are speaking of it again. It's answers from the 'enlightened, experiential'' era coming back.

TM is more successful today 2019 than during the early to mid 1970s which many thought was its heyday. people who took it up then are giving way to younger practitioners Ellen Degenarus Russell Brand...not to put on a sales pitch but it's far from a 60s thing. It's the heart of Vedanta and seems to provide better results than any other meditations.

"Be transformed by the renewing of your minds." Jesus taught the way in it's fullness. There is a Christian TM by one of our mystics described beautifully in "The Cloud of Unknowing" . Still I love TM and think it should be taught free to all.

Moti, You are a saint to put this online. There are 40,000 hours of Maharishi talks. Online we can see only about 100. If not this generation, then when? Do we expect that the next gen will be *stronger than this one? Hunh?

Excellent point! The present generation is growing up weaker, mainly due to extreme and layered brain- poisoning vaccines! Over 60 are recommended by the teen years. Mercury, Aluminum... everything but the kitchen sink. Foreign DNAs, human and animal. Harmful chemicals poison nervous system, leading to Autism and chronic illness

Q: why are there so many different religions? A: because some people need to receive The Message differently. This man taught people how to tap into the Divine spark that is in each one of us. ..but refused to believe that it was given to them from the One true God.

Theoretically all that is true, but, the devil is in the details! Most people don't automatically feel bliss in meditation, glimpses? yes! Permanent clarity takes years and years of practice! After 40 + year of TM I don't know anyone who has even achieved Cosmic Consciousness, even pure transcendental consciousness (pure inner happiness/bliss) is rare, so MMY has really simplified the whole thing...still works, but lets be real here!

They call the course "Science and Technology of Consciousness" at Maharishi University now, but the word "Creative" is needed to preserve the artistic heart value, not just the scientific logical aspects of the field of pure Creative Intelligence.

Go to TM.org and you will find the links to sign up for the training. The cost is now quite within reach at $500. Twenty years ago it was $1000. It’s worth every penny. For you to do this it will encompass an entire weekend and two days into the regular week. Saturday to Tuesday. About two hours a day in your training each day. The best vacation you will ever have 👍

Don't pay for something that should be free to help human nature to become better there are many you tube channels that can help you...do some research and you will find people who can show you the way. Not everyone can afford £500/$500 or £50/$50 even less... so are they left behind ?
