Maharajapuram singing any raaga is a real divine feast for our ears... what wrong did Music do to have lost him so suddenly and tragically...May be he was needed in the swarga loka to soak them in the ocean of Musical swaras

If we listen with rapt attention we feel like having gone to heaven and come back. Hats off to Santanam garu and accompaniments.

However you praise Sri Maharajapuram Santhanam for his singing excellence that will be insufficient only. I am one of the long time rasikas of Sri Santhanam. Alas, he has been taken away from us at a prime time of his life. We are at a loss to know why all these happened to him and the Lord only may give the answer.

we may never get another singer like him....he was a singer par excellence.....however his unfortunate death makes us doubt the existence of god of whom he sang all his precious life...…..

Please change the ragam to Hindolam. This rendition is tuned in Hindolam , Not in Shuddha Hindolam (Varamu)

Just like Madurai Mani Iyyer, Santanam eats/twists some Telugu words when he sings kritis. May be he doesn't know the language.
