What a fantastic scene!! The dialogue & superb acting.....FIRST CLASS!! People constantly talk about Mukesh Khanna's performance in the iconic role of Bhishma and I'm fed up of hearing about it, but this actor playing one of the most crirical of characters in Mahabharat, he has performed the role with such dignity & grace, he really deserved an award for this role. I've watched this scene so many times and it still touches me everytime!!

He's the most loved Bhishma ❤❤ he's the first Bhishma I saw ❤ he's the best ! Such a massy with classy way of presentetion 😇😇 And I don't find Mukesh khanna ji anyhow close to what Arav has portrayed!!

The only one who I truly feel bad about is Bhishma. Just imagine being the strongest demigod who has death under his control cannot sit on his father throne, also cannot father children either. Imagine the pain on him seeing such weaklings becoming kings and the first capable one dying after becoming king(Satyvaki and Shantunus first son). Also tolerating palace politics one after another. The war was a blessing for him, he died on his own terms, did what he wanted. Otherwise he would've kept living longer serving those Kings who are not his blood technically 😢. Imagine his status after hearing what Parikshit did to the shadu and how Parikshit will die.

Not only that but also maintaining pure celibacy(not having a proper word to describe its sanctity) by staying in a palace. Maharishis maintain it by going to the jungle but it is tougher to maintain the same in a palace.
