im on my 5th treatment with theta burst tms, I noticed a change in me after the first treatment. My perception of the world is different, I can think more clearly, I have more focus and concentration. And I only get depressed when I think of something sad, not all the time and not know why. Im excited to see what the next 5 weeks brings after 30 treatments.

I ended up getting 36 treatments, last one was a few weeks ago. I definetely do notice a difference before and after treatment. I am more aware of my emotions and if I am sad, its only when im thinking of something that's sad vs all the time and not knowing why. My personality has come out. I feel the love of my family. I also have better concentration, faster thinking, being able to enjoy things. Having a sense of humour again. A good way to describe it, is an FM radio dial. When you're not quite tuned into a station and can hear the music clearly withotu static, then tuning it in where the music is loud and clear. Another example might be that feeling when you're in a loud room trying to talk and listen to someone and suddenly the room goes quiet and everything is much easier and relaxing. @@EhsanZagy

Does TMS help with cluster headaches?

My symptoms got worse with TMS. I was pulsed only once, but it was a very strong impulse. My legs and arms, actually the whole body was shaking. After that I nearly fainted. Never again. Perhaps it's good, but I guess the treating person didn't make. Good job.

@@bronze5634, ECT is completely different - not even comparable with TMS. I'm at week 6 and it's making a difference for me. Best if the patient is having psychotherapy, too. Look up ECT and then TMS; there are a lot of differences.
