🔴 MAGNUS EFFECT and DYNAMIC LIFT || for Class 11 in HINDI

In this Physics video in Hindi we explained the the Magnus effect and dynamic lift for class 11. We explained why airplane gets lift and why football swings. As the airplane moves its wings pushes the air donwards and according to Newton's third law air pushes the wings upwards. Spinning ball also pushes air in one direction and hence it gets deflected in opposite direction. This effect is named after a German experimental physicist Heinrich Gustav Magnus.
Dynamic lift is the force that acts on a body, such as airplane wing, a hydrofoil or a spinning ball, by virtue of its motion through a fluid. In many games such as cricket, tennis, baseball, or golf, we notice that a spinning ball deviates from its parabolic trajectory as it moves through air. This deviation can be partly explained on the basis of Newton's thisd law.
This dynamic lift due to spinning is called Magnus effect.

Hi, all the classroom demonstrations of Bernoulli's principle are misleading. Bernoulli's principle is probably the most misunderstood and misinterpreted principle in Physics. Almost all the textbooks of Class XI Physics use the wrong examples to explain the principle. I have discussed a few demonstrations and explained the real physics behind them. I want this video to reach every Physics student and teacher. kzread.info/dash/bejne/oZtkq5iEfs-wqco.html

No you are wrong as Newton's third law of motion has got one limitation. The limitation is that the Newton's third's law of motion neglects the shape of bodies. So we cannot perfectly say that the force of air moving down the airfoil would exert an upward force which would lead to the flight of the aeroplane.

*The Flawed Classics* On a commonsense, everyday basis, two theories have been advanced to explain what keeps an airplane aloft. One is Bernoulli's theorem, which associates lift with the area of higher speed and lower pressure atop the wing. The other is the Newtonian principle of action and reaction, which explains lift as an upward push on the wing from the moving air below. Each of these theories is correct in its way, and neither one contradicts the other, although proponents of each theory argue their viewpoints with a zeal bordering on mania. Still, neither theory by itself provides a complete explanation of lift, nor do both of them together, because each leaves something out. A complete explanation must account for all the forces and factors acting on the wing, with no issue, major or minor, left dangling.
