Magnus Carlsen was known for his attacking style as a teenager, but has since developed into a universal player. He uses a variety of openings to make it harder for opponents to prepare against him. The Dragon Variation is one of the main lines of the Sicilian Defence. The opening leads to some of the sharpest positions in all of chess.

But at 11:40, black could've still taken the f4 pawn with the knight attacking white's queen and bishop on g5 can't take because the queen is pinned.

…Nxf4? Qxf7+ followed by BxN and black’s position collapses.

Hate the Solis variation (is that what it's called? -- when White plays Bc4 and THEN 0--0--0. It greases the skids to territory Black knows better than you and you're fighting for a draw most of the time. I've had much better results with 9. 0-0-0.
