I did end up sharing all my thoughts with ClickClack and they relayed my worries about the daughter board assembly to the design team. Apparently you can forcefully push in the daughterboard with the ribbon cable attached, however this is NOT something I am comfortable endorsing. If it has the chance to break, it probably will. At the end of the day, this is definitely a RAD board! 🔥 But I would agree: fix the inside components, remove top branding next to LEDs and add some faded black screws for aesthetics. 💯

I like seeing these type of boards once in awhile, but they are all so far out of my budget. Still cool to see from time to time.

Cant wait for mine to get here! Ordered the 1.6mm pcb as well so curious to see how it will feel.

hey how do you set up shortcuts for volume and stuff on mac without the f row?

how do skeleton plate effect the sound? I saw some board leave a hole at the spacebar on purpose, like the cycle7 does that make the sound more punchy?

I have recently seen a cigarette keyboard and now this, really cool designs tho

The weight reminds me of the arc60

If it had RGB I would have grabbed it. I know people don't like RGB but even putting it on your PCB for those people to turn off you'd grab a whole segment of people who do love RGB.

I agree with this. I wish more high end boards had per key rgb. It’s nice to have it glowing under the keycaps.

I've been on the fence about this board... The gimmick is fun but the body lines and colors don't vibe with me. Them showing several photos of the "Limited Editon" badge and not mentioning it anywhere is annoying. Is there only 100 GB slots? Is it the first 100? Is it even happening?

I joined the groupbuy because i love the design, but the lack of step-caps put me off a bit

Pretty sure that's just an issue with the layout render on the GB page; The exploded build render shows a stepped caps, the plates have a hole that's larger than 1u, and in this very video Alex builds it with step-caps.

It's from a DMK Ghost keycap set called milo. It seems to be sold put everywhere though because I've been looking for it too.

Its a shame to see such a nice aesthetic design getting capped by a bad interior like those excessive flex cuts and ribbon cable. There's a jst for the battery and leds, who tf thought it was a good idea to go with ribbon for the pcb?

They do offer a non flex cut version but yeah the ribbon cable design I feel was not needed!

Meh average build quality, sounds mad foamed. Budget sound , also those flex cuts are a hard pass 😂
