‘Magnum P.I’ Star Jay Hernandez Got Big Break After Elevator Meeting

Jay Hernandez joined Kit Hoover and Mario Lopez for “Access Daily” which is currently filming the show remotely amid the coronavirus pandemic. Jay, who stars in “Magnum P.I.” shared a story about running into a manager while in an elevator with his parents. The man pitched him about working as an actor in Hollywood and through that connection he first met Mario.

I love Jay and Mario !!! These two are great actors and guys. We really enjoy Magnum PI and love all the cast. Great writing and always has a good moral message in every show. Keep doing what your doing. Keep Jesus Christ first in everything you do !!!

I have to admit when I heard Jay Hernandez was going to be the new Magnum I was absolutely against it. But this is a totally different show from the original and I actually like it. I'm just glad they didn't try to actually recreate (Did You See the Sunrise). They did it in name only.
