Magnolia Plantation -Charleston, South Carolina
A partial walk-through of Magnolia Plantation located in Ashley, just across the Ashley River from Charleston, South Carolina. We got there late in the day and need to go back to do the train ride and some of the other tours.

My friend and I were there a couple of years ago. We did take the tram ride. We saw lots and lots of alligators along the path.
The tram ride through Audubon swamp is really fascinating. The last time I visited Magnolia, we happened to coincide with a reenactment of the Battle of Charleston. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen as everyone stayed in character. It was surreal to see regiments of British soldiers coming down the drive as we watched from the porch.

It was creepy.
Watching this video gives me the chills I know in my heart that some horrible things happen to people of color in that place.Everything that glitters ain’t gold 🤷🏾♂️
