Definitely I fall in love with Hurrem. And in 1 episode is explained why she was negative. After murdering of the whole family and being sold like animal, she was treated even worse than animal!! And other sultanas were better than her? No, Valide and Fatma were even worse. And Hurrem mainly protected her lover and kids

I became hooked on this series. I went to Istanbul to see Suleman’s & Hurrem’s mosque/tomb. Beautiful.

Its like my fourth or fifth time repeating this series 🤣 a big round of applause to the actors especially (meryem uzerli)and (suleyman)😊🤣

Western drama has become so stale and unimaginative that I moved to Turkish, Chinese, and Korean drama. Never regretted it once

The first time I watched this awesome series was during the pandemic in 2020. What makes it more memorable for me was when my mother also got hooked on it. She particularly loved Hurrem's strong personality and her ways in fighting for herself, her love for Suleiman and her children. My mother passed on at 84 yo in 2021 but I'm happy that we bonded over this during the covid quarantine months. We both love the series. Now I am rewatching the series and I can't help but recall the times I watched it with my dearesr mother who I miss so much. ❤

I could watch this series all day long. The red-headed Ukranian, slave, then wife, then the only wife. This series was the BEST. You just can't beat a Turkish drama. It's the best soap opera available online. Enjoy one of my favorite shows of all time.

@@Pashasmom1 All the events in the harem and the sultan's bedroom are fictional and it is understandable because the harem was the most closed institution in the empire. It is possible that Ibrahim Pasha never saw Hurrem's face. But why were some historically known facts changed - Ibrahim was not married to Hatije, Hatije already had five children at the time of Suleiman's accession to the throne, Hafsa died before the marriage of Hurrem and Suleiman, the first haseki sultan was Hurrem and not Mahidevran, sultans until Suleiman was traditionally cut off from intimate relations with women who would give birth to a son, Hurrem was on good terms with his in-laws, Suleiman had only two older sisters, he was Hafsa's the youngest child, Hafha-Walide Sultan was an ordinary Christian slave and not the daughter of the Crimean Khan, the costumes in the series are not Turkish and dozens of other historical inaccuracies.

I got hooked on this show. Because of the short edits that started showing up in my KZread feed. The cinematography was magnificent. So I had to find full episodes.

Sulieman was excited and felt nervous to see Alexzandra,he had a smile on his face while waiting in fron of the door..But when he see Mahidevran when the door open his smile was gone and his face turned cold..

That can NEVER lead to anything good! So, I suggest you stop following the heretical man you follow and get back into the BIBLE. Otherwise, you're going in a direction that I cannot follow! For you are departing from the SCRIPTURES and what they teach, as well as the DICTIONARY, and as well as what the TRUE CHURCH (not Catholicism) has believed for almost 2000 years. God is ONE GOD. He consists of three PARTS. God made man (Adam) in his image, and we also consist of three parts. We are TRI-PART beings, as is God. But, it's NOT WRONG to say that God can manifest in three separate "persons" and still be ONE GOD. I proved that from the BIBLE, from the DICTIONARY of the English Language, and from History. @@lilliehalumi8770 yeah,but Ibrahim put himself in the place of the Sultan,he called himself a Comander or something else like he is the Sultan and Suleiman found out about it and decided to kill him,it's hard to have a friend in whom you don't know if you can trust,as I know Suleiman had many writings or poems in which he talkes about friendship,people think he often regreted killing Ibrahim.Anyhow,one of the best friendships ever.

Meryem Uzerli is so memorable even her voice. I was listening to something and it was a kind of scene I think where you could hear all sorts of voices, people talking but you couldn't see the actual speakers just could hear them. I Swear it was hers because no one pronounces things quite like her. Her pitch, the intonation is so distinctive. You cannot forget her.

A mi me pasa lo mismo ! Me enamoré de Meryem de su voz ella es así hoy ka digo en su instagram està cambiada pero divina igual . Ella con su tono alemán turco , cómo canta y cuándo se enoja es genial . Mueve las manos en forma natural muchos de sus gestos son naturales . I have laughed, cried, and been very aggravated with some of the characters, especially Suleiman. All in all it's a wonderful series. The scenery is beautiful and the Arabian horses are gorgeous..my favorite breed. Going to watch again I'm sure

This and Magnificent Century Kosem are the only series I can watch over and over again and never get sick of!

After watching the entire episodes of M.Y. Kösem, I have started to watch this. I have a great love for this television series: the storyline, the great music that stayed throughout the whole series, the evolving stories of each characters and the great actors are all what makes it so impressive.

Watching this with so much mixed emotions. I am a Christianand definitelyndo not uphold campaigns of killing and desecrating churches or subjecting other people. It is wrong regardless of who does it: Christian, Hindhu or Moslem or Athiest. We need to be decent human beings. We cannot be godly if we hurt others. And after conquering the whole world what peace did he and his family have. The actors have done such a good job in depicting their roles. They really become that person.. Inreally wish we could all live with less greed and more love and definitely more peace.

Rewatching this series again. Feels so good to see all the characters ❤️

That's part of way I wish they had kept the rule about the Sultan not sleeping with a concubine after she gives him a son. It's a big part of how much Suleiman loves Hurrem that this was the first rule he broke for her.

If Mahidevran was a concubine, she could not go to halvet after the birth of her first son because the rule was that after the birth of a son, a concubine could not give birth to more male children due to the conflict of interests of the brothers when inheriting the throne, so the rule was one concubine - one son/ prince. I bingewatched this during COVID..day and night. My mother ans i were hooked onto it on our respective phones. So excited to be back here gng to watch it all over again ❤ What great acting and what amazing storyline. Stopped watching when the children turned older n got all crazy

I used to watch this with my mum when I was a kid. I was so obsessed with it that I dreamt about it. Never got to finish it though so it's finally time

You have one mistake Sultan Suleyman was born in 1494 not(1499 like you wrote)6th of November.I enjoy watching this,Big men he was,Magnificent Sultan 46years on throne,won many battles,conquer..and also has a heart for a deep and strong love for his Hurrem.Firuze or any women of Savafid never enter in Top Kapi sarayi or that Princess,she was old when Suleyman was Sultan,so Hurrem never had that problems,thst is only for series to be more interesting,only Mahidevran was her "headache" in the start and Ayse Hafsa Sultan was calming them while she was alive,she wasnt enemy to Hurrem,first tiara or crown to Hurrem,was gift from Valide Sultan,Ajse Hafsa Sultan.Suleyman and Hurrem got married in june 1530,austrian ambasador wrote:He put her by him self on the throne like his Queen,the ceremony last 9days..No matter what their love last 40years.from 1534-1558 Hurrem was leading the Harem,I think is the longest of all Sultans,unfortunatlly she never became Valide Sultan.She was from Rogatin,Redhair beauty,strong women,she was not only women concubine to Suleyman but he tooks advices from her,he felt in love on first site,when Ibrahim bought from slavery bazzar in Istanbul and brought in sarayi and many had written that when she entered in Sarayi was like a tornado,she entered in few days in his bedroom and never leave golden path again,born 6children..she was love of Suleyman.I admire her,maybe she done bad things,but remember about their law,she was only protecting her children

Returning back for the 4th time. This serial program is brilliant, very powerful, sad, heartbreaking. Halit is amazing, nailed the Suleiman role.

I watched all of the Magnificent Century episodes and all of the Kosem Sultana episodes. Now I'm rewatching Magnificent Century because I can't have enough. I love this so much! ❤️❤️

This is my third times watching this series,I really love it.

After watching it for umpteenth time i realized. Other ladies simply bonded over their jealousy for Hürrem. The way Mahidevran treats Gülfem on their first meeting. They are all jealous that Hürrem did what none of them could.

Here for the 4th time, I just can't get enough of this series, and each time I watch, I see something I somehow missed the previous times. I LOVE Meryem Uzerli, and Halit Ergenc, they both knocked their roles right out of the park!!!!
