    Dear sir, It's a request if you could kindly clarify my doubt .The magnetic field line at the end would start from North and would converge on South Pole of the magnet .Am I right? or they will Start from North and would converge on Earth's Magnet's south?????

    Magnetic field lines outside of a permanent magnet always run from the north magnetic pole to the south magnetic pole. Therefore, the magnetic field lines of the earth run from the southern geographic hemisphere towards the northern geographic hemisphere.

    Just one question.. we say magnetic field lines inside a magnet go from S to N. That means there are magnetic field lines inside and they must be very close.. so why magnetic field strength inside a magnet is weaker?
