Fun fact. It doesnt have to de digivolve an opponents digimon. You can hit your own magna if you want to evo into it

8:11 accidentally setting memory to 3 when should be at 2? This probably mattered too since the memory boost then keeps turn, letting you evo into magna. Could be missing something though

ah, I dont think that option at 7:29 works like that, you have to put a digimon from the field not from your hand. Never played the card actually but thats what I get from reading it.

... damn just reread it lol. Hmm, I'll have to think about keeping it in the deck then. I still think it's a great removal card since it bottom decks the Digimon instead of returning to hand

I was just coming to the comments to say the same thing lol. I believe it requires something in play already, as the effect does not state "from hand". A card is only recognized as "a digimon" when it's in play.

@@MrJsStrategyPlays It's definitely a good card but harder to proc. You can still do it with other Veemon's on field, however with no inheritables you are essentially just losing a potential swing with no benefit to your larger stack. If you have a green source (Davis and Ken) I would tech in Giga Death instead. 9 mem, however good in this format with wide boards. A lot of potential bottom decking.

I'm not running Davis and Ken unfortunately (used to run it at 2 copies before). The reason I put Maelstrom in is because there were some times when Heaven's Judgement was unusable in my hand without the yellow source. But yeah I'd run Giga Death if I had more green sources

@@MrJsStrategyPlays Oh makes sense. My bad then, I thought you had a DK in your deck. I also just took mine out so anything I have Green/Blue also had to come out.

He could run into magna x and pop the sukammon to dedigivolve your other magna. As it’s inheritable can pop another sukamon to survive from deletion. Or not sure if he had that inheritable? Etemon is my fav deck to play, sucks numemon does what it does but better better. Hopefully we get some good Mamemon support one day lol. Make it the new Etemon/numemon deck.

I can't agree on no promo Davis. Gets played effectively for free when you wanna play a veemon out which you basically always do. And +1 memory is always more powerful than set to 3. Because you only need 2 to effectively guarantee 3 memory every turn and more over being set to 3 is 2 more memory your opponent can play with and they stop worrying about choking you. Vs gaining a memory they're still forced to calculate memory thresholds. I still run 2 (might cut to 1) memory setter Davis, but promo is def stronger imo

It is more work to choke at 1 yes so the new Davis sets you to 2, but a good opponent will 100% put in that work to choke you. So digivolving will pass turn without promo Veemon. I would rather be guaranteed the 3 memory and 2 minimum plays than sometimes being set to 2 memory and only having 1 play With that being said, I agree that opp worrying about the extra memory and playing a body is great… I am considering cutting 2 options to run 2 of that Davis. Currently testing out Plasma Shot for the wide boards but that’s one that I’m thinking of cutting

@@MrJsStrategyPlays yes a good player will play around it, but with promo veemon, training, and mem boost (I know you won't always have it) you'll have plenty of ways to Evo into magna with just being set at 2 while also forcing your opponent to use less memory (even if they're good and they do it correctly)

8:15 Etemon player plays T.K setter and resolves the card the wrong way. You take a card from sec, if it is yellow you first recover a card from deck and then shuffle. He shuffled and then recovered a card to the top of his security.

Yeah… it was a practice match so I didn’t mind. But yes that card did make a difference since it was the security Sukamon that came out hmm

8:11 you set yourself to 3 memory im guessing you were so used to the davis being out, don’t think it made a difference tho since you put him to 3 anyways
