Very well done, without spoken word. The incorporated text is sufficient to bring the message. Best images to date of the surroundings without any other distractions.

If I remember correctly, before January 14, when the uplift was between 5 and 7 mm per day, the magma inflow was about 7 cubic meters per second. With uplift being 8 mm per day, I'm guessing magma inflow has gone up, perhaps at most to 10 cubic meters per second. So, if it's between 7 and 10 cubic meters per second, then the amount of magma would be roughly 7.8 million to 11 million cubic meters.

This helps me remember where Grindavik is in relation to Blue Lagoon. I visited both in 2015 and 2018.

Well it never stopped inflating after previous eruption, so I would not say it just started.

Can see the lava spill is still to hot, snow has melted. If the snow continues or stays it may be an indicator of rising magma. Thank you for the update.

Lava flows can stay hot for days, weeks, months or even years depending on how thick a flow is. A thin one like the ones in Hawaii, about 1 meter or less, can cool in a matter of days. The flows in Fagradalsfjall, Meradalir and Nattaghi which were erupted from March to September in 2021 can remain hot for years.

@@sigisoltau6073 There is a lava flow in Reunion Island (French island in the Indian Ocean) which had crossed a road and was still warm after several years. You could still see steam rising from it as you drove on the rebuilt road.

Hi. really love this footage but I've always wondered if you are legally able to fly right above people?
