@@NNKH2 You're welcome Chris keep up the great work your channel has the most entertaining content I've saw on KZread to date always has you are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about everything and a fellow mechanic of the trade one day I hope my channel will be as much fun as yours!!
Excellent tip on the zip ties. A habit I formed long ago as a stereo installer.
Thanks again, the Desert is beautiful especially in the Winter cactus almost got ya
What a great channel. You guys are great. Keep up the fun😎
I have been thinking about an E-bike for some time now mostly because I want to get out and ride but need the power assist because of my back fusion and now needing another one soon. So I figure this would be perfect to exercise but being on disability and the cost of these bike not going to happen. As alway love your videos you do a great job explaining everything.
Lol the cracks that were repaired in the road looked like some kind of crazy mural. And they definitely should have just did the whole road like you said lol. Great review as always Chris.

Haha yeah pretty wild looking! Somebody was milking that hourly pay I guess. And thanks!
Lowering the pressure in your tires in AZ is an invitation to flats. Gotta keep them at full pressure.
Nice hat Chris! Hello Jen and Gus!
Some wicked terrain out there. That bike handled it nicely.

Indeed!
As soon as I saw the terrain I knew you were heading for a flat. I do recommend you give flatout with Kevlar fibers a try, my experience is it’s even better.

Tires on the bike are also weird. They are super thin like balloons or something.
Good bike review, I appreciated this video as I am looking to buy a e-bike in future (maybe not this model)… You have given me plenty of information to think about, much more than what a manufacturer website covers..
Love these review videos! Some of the best around
Nice review on the electric bike
After a few cycles your battery percentage should get more accurate. That's with any battery powered product. Even cell phones

Thanks. I didn't know that
Great video. Thanks for putting it out there. I just got mine today and I wonder does anyone else find it a little troublesome that there's no front wheel retainer clips on this bike? I don't see one on their website either. Having had a front wheel come off before and experiencing the resulting mayhem, I would think a bike that could go 28+MPH, they would consider it somewhat important.
Another great one! Hope all felt well this fine bright sunny day. Lol😃
Those look like Teddy Bear Cholla, they don't let go!

29:05 time mark, remarks about cruise control. Unfortunately, there is no option for disabling the Cruise Control function. If you hold the throttle for 8 seconds at a constant speed, the bike will automatically turn on the Cruise Control. You can get out of Cruise Control by hitting the brakes or by pedaling the bike. This is true for the Magicycle Cruiser, Cruiser Pro, Ocelot, and Ocelot Pro. Unknown whether there is a Cruise Control function on Magicycle's other bikes (Commuter, Jaguarundi, or soon to be released Deer).
At first I was just going to watch to support the channel . But really enjoyed the video ! I'd really like to have an electric bike ( here in Kentucky with all the hill's) plus great exercise as well. Maybe one day lol Godspeed !

Thanks so much for watching and awesome to hear that you enjoyed the video! Yeah electric bikes are definitely a real game changer! It's sweet that you can still pedal hard as well
Your crazy personality makes the whole thing. I still laugh my ass off when i saw that video about your teeth!! Lmfao!!!!!!
I thought you needed a helmet when I saw that motorcycle rider go by with just a hat on
Use Flataway liquid. I’ve ridden 2000 miles on mine. No issues
Cool EBike
Looks like a great bike. Yeah if you fell on one of those cactus' it would be a little..err...disconcerting. Maybe carry an emergency 6 pack of beer and some pliers....You might need it or for someone else on the trail. Having that 52v system really helps with the voltage sag and range. I've ordered a 52v battery for my bike and of course I had to order it from some forgotten VC bunker complex on the Ho Chi Mihn trail but there seemed to be a lot of positive ratings on their website(92.5%) and it comes with a one year warranty so hopefully it will be ok. I think it was called the "pride of the proletariat" model or something 15Ah. I think I'll carry a fire extinguisher for the first few rides to be safe in case the battery has some sort of failure and starts going into a thermal runaway state which is not good, it's "bad". Don't look up "Li-ion thermal runaway", please. Don't do it. It's good you slimed your tires. I always pre-slime my tubes and knock on wood they've been good for about a year now and there is all kinds of crap living in a city like Toronto and of course it always gets pushed into the bike lanes. If you want to hit my channel I show how to charge your e-bike from anything from solar to USB-C.
Hey Chris huge fan love your content you Jen and the guys keep me entertained for hours I love how knowledgeable you are on many types of vehicles and you’re extremely entertaining. I am a 55-year-old Car nut that was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at age 44. It has slowed me down and it’s no picnic but I refuse to let it get me. I had the perfect bike after years of parts upgrades and trial and error an LED lights and Bluetooth speakers and what not… Even made a matching trailer to haul my dog and groceries I used to ride every day it helps with the Parkinson’s symptoms and get my head clear but my bike got stolen and life has sucked ever since. Would you consider selling one of those that you did this video on. Lmn.

Awesome to hear that you find them helpful and greatly appreciate you dropping a comment! Thank you
i have the magicycle cruiser step thru. the bike is great. nice for minor off road and real nice on the bike paths, trails and on the city streets. the one thing to know about these bikes is that you will want to set up your pedal assist system with a start of pedal assist zero. it is only with a zero pedal assist that you will get maximum speed while on throttle only. if you have it on pedal assist mode it limits your top speed even on the highest pedal assist mode, it still limits the speed, just by a few miles per hour but still you should know this. so set your bike up with a pedal assist mode of zero as the starter and try my findings out for yourself. i have recommended this bike to several friends, it is a good and solid bike all the way around. on average i go 12 to 20 mph and do some pedal assist and alot of throttle only just not at max speed all the time and i have been getting about 45 miles per charge with a little power to spare and my bike is not the pro model, i have had it for about three months now and it will get you out and about especially when you want to get out into the sunshine and ride but dont want to do alot of pedaling. get one, you will not be disappointed.

Cruiser Pro peddle assist 0 push the throttle and you don't go ! Nice feature to move the bike around without it accidentally moving if the throttle was bumped...

@@kbgking7921 good to hear that, it is a real good choice. i got the step thru because i liked the look more than the full top bar and i am glad i went that route. even with the step thru it is a big bike to get on and off of. everyone that has ridden mine loves it and some have purchased the same bike, it is just so good for the minor trails, the regular bike paths, the city streets and a local around town form of transportation and grocery getter. i put the unzip and pull down saddle bags bag on the back shelf and it really lets me do alot more than just bike around. you will not be disappointed unless you buy a different bike than the majicycle. enjoy.
Thumbs up 👍 look out for flats 😂
So beautiful park~~~Where is there?
I like this bike
If you don't remember running into a cactus 🌵 you should lay off the sauce. The cactus is what gave you several flats. Being native to Pennsylvania you might not know that a cactus bites back.

Thanks Chris, I have the Himiway Cruiser, now at 2,650K on it, zero issues to date, and NO flat tires! I installed 'Flat-Out' in both mine and my wife's e-bikes and neither of us have had a flat, although so far haven't ridden excessively off road, but we have hit many trails over the last couple years. Nonetheless, the flat-out is a game saver. If/when you have some time Chris, check out this 'review' on a fellow testing several different products and their prices, on what it takes to keep rolling, instead of deal with flat tires - kzread.info/dash/bejne/X4xk249rcdatgs4.htmlsi=Jg9tH1CkjBAekclh
Yuk flat tires, don’t they have liquid tire pressure seal , instant tire repair, you need a mini fast air pump or call 📞 your girlfriend grab your truck and come and get you

WTF is going on with your hair
I’m sure you’re not likely doing this purposely, but you are pushing a narrative by reviewing these ebikes. I for one will no longer subscribe to your channel. A guy who burns more fuel “which I’m fine with” shouldn’t be telling us how great these garbage Chinese ebikes are! Good luck.

I don't discriminate types of energy. Gasoline is great but like it or not, Electric transportation is becoming a major player. I agree its a bummer there's not more USA made options to buy from. Hopefully that changes. Thanks for sticking around while ya did.

My comment is not to be taken as a hit job towards Chris! More intended to draw attention to all these electric bikes that are given to him to review. For someone who mainly works on ICE he seems to be pushing these FREE “to him” electric bikes! In the el Camino series alone that bike showed up how many times! If you aren’t paying attention to what’s happening in America you might wanna take a moment to look. The more normalizing this Chinese garbage as some kind normal mode of transportation the more the gas prices go up. And the less independent we become. Read now and laugh! Look me up in a year and tell me I was wrong. Kneeling on the American flag instead of grabbing something out of the back of the car didn’t help make this decision. Dude has everything in the back of his vehicle. Except a piece of cardboard to kneel or sit on. Try serving your country. Not kneeling on it Capernick.
@levikender4820

I don’t understand your comment John. You’re definitely posting your comment using a Chinese made device (probably slave labor by US standards) and have an issue with Chris doing a review of a Chinese made electric bike? Chris constantly comments on the better made US products (more than most KZreadrs) and has made it clear on multiple videos that Chinese made goods are inferior. Start a KZread channel and show us how it’s done without sponsors. Otherwise you’re just another KZreadr who belongs on Twitter rather than KZread. Complaining is one thing but criticizing is completely different. Good riddance, this channel isn’t for turds 💩
