What I have done personally is installing the external filter normally used with 50 Ltr RO systems in between the tank and tap's line. Cost of 1 filter is not more than Rs 300 including the inner filter. Inner filter lasts more than 6 months or even beyond and the cost of replacement is around Rs 80 only. Inner filter length is around 22 Inches. Once a year, I clean over head tank using a funnel type piece attached with a common flexible pipe and the siphon method I learned during my school days 45 years ago. Hope it will help others too .........

Instead of doing all this you ask a lean person (preferably very young boy/girl) in to the tank with brush and some cloths. Remember one thing that the person getting in to tank should wash his/her legs very clean. The water in the rank should be preferably 4 inch depth after brushing all the portion of the bottom of the tank with brush and cloth, let him/ her come out and by using properties of water flow (put about more than double length of a pipe (1inch or 1/2 completely filled with water one end inside the tank below the water almost touching the bottom and other end well below the bottom of the tank out side. The inside water will completely drains out side. Thats all. And at the end with a clean cloth attached to a pvc or steel pipe wipe the bottom of the water tank. It will be clean.( the person getting in to tank can be one of your family member who is very lean and can get in to tank easily. Very simple advisable to 1 or 2 thousand liters tank only. (though the explanation looks little lengthy.😊)

This device cleans the bottom sediments only. In actual situations tank sides need to be cleaned. So a standard conventional pressure jet cleaning is ideal and hygenic, and finally with a spray of diluted hydrogen peroxide where surface will be free from bacteria.

The tank is new and we don't feel that equipment is not good enough to clean a normal water tank.

Most of the domestic home users water tank will be on terrace top and not on ground.So terrace top their won't be connectivity provision to power up the equipment.That is the only drawback otherswise very innovative,

Bottom is not mud does not clean the walls as there more age on the walls

Seems not promising one as no demonstration for vertical or wall cleaning of tank. Also nothing is told if it's working in tanks made of cement or metal.

Very simple . First scretch side walls with large handle brush n then clean

Plz correct it's not tanki it's just a tank.. At early you mentioned that tap water inflow need to be stopped & at the end you mention you need not to stop input water flow.. Sediments collects not only in bottom of tank but also deposits in sidewalls.

after using new filters you could not clean the filters so life of filters is zook...what about hard calcareous deposits on the walls esp where the water is "hard water"...

This is too much work. With the initial machine cost and cost of maintenance and filters, it may not work out economical.

Not every where . Clean without this Machine. Take p.V.C pipe ,attach a Funnel of 4" dia wth it and tie the pipe with a tank hight Stick of Bamboo then put this in tank holding straight with Funnel end touching bottom of the Tank , suck water and make it flow by itself , you will see that the water flow falling will have mud in it due to funnel being touchy with mud mixed water , go on cleaning ,and make it a practice to train all your houses close to you. Also thank me every time .

Sorry at the top of building.

You have used white tank so that sediments can be seen clearly. But in non white tank where sediments are not visible this machine will not work

It is not able to clean the site scrubbing of tank

This also requires angular arm to accommodate tanks which are on lofts of the bathroom. This is useless for such cleaning hence the creator has not applied his mind.
