Madeira .....

Flying around like this would give such a feeling of freedom, and show how enclosed normal human life is. Actually flying around these beautiful landscapes would lift, even if momentarily, all constraints and societal expectations. You could feel like this world is yours and you can do anything. Oh, if only.

I just returned from a one-month Madeiran hiking trip and explored many of the stunning landscapes shown in this video. Seeing them from the air in this way, with this beautiful music, fills me with sadness that I am no longer in that paradise and makes me long even more ardently to return as soon as possible. It is the most beautiful, rugged, verdant, colourful, fresh-aired, sweet-smelling and awe-inspiring island I have ever explored. There are many places on the hikes where the vistas are so incredible and moving that I felt an urge to go down on my knees and worship the mighty forces of nature that crafted and sustain this thrilling and inspiring wonderland.

I only write all this because I, like you, was incredibly moved by this video. This video is beautiful and your comment is beautiful too. Your soul is screaming out because it has suddenly been reminded, if only for a moment, of how incredibly beautiful God truly is. However, you may not be fully ready to accept that, and as a result, you used some very interesting language. Instead of saying "God", you said "mighty forces of nature", and instead of "created", you said "crafted". In Surah 13 of the Quran, in a chapter called "The Thunder", God says, "Surely in the remembrance of God do hearts find comfort." The sadness you feel is a result of your soul, having seen true beauty, now yearning, quietly desperate, to go back to its Lord. May you once again get to visit that land of wonder, where the ego is completely lost, and all that you witness, is beauty.

Will make sure to watch this video whenever winter gets to dark over here. Absolutely spectacular shots on a stunningly beautiful little island, thank you so much!
