Harry's sweater/jumper was green in the books. Molly matched it to his eyes. In the movies it was blue (so were his eyes).

I just looked into this, in the first film he does actually wear a green sweater/jumper. As far as I could see, it was during the wizard's chess scene between him and Ron in the great hall. This could be the movie inspiration for the cook book?

yeah they gave Daniel green contacts but he was allergic to them so he only wore them once and they kept his eyes blue
