Deb O'Haver ....just seeing your comment now, 11 months later...so perhaps you already know the answer, but in case you don’t: light layers don’t cause a wax bloom, it is going in with only a few heavy layers that cause it.

I don't know if this is the spot to reply...but is it possible to turn an anime character and make them look realistic using Prismacolors? Also, could you do a video on coloring black hair and dark skin (not brown) and possibly coloring clothing?

Aaron Wood ... Chris has a LOT of other videos. Just click on her name at the top, then go to "Videos" or "Playlists." These are tabs up at the top. Besides Chris, there are numerous very talented colorists on KZread - just search within YT by clicking on the little magnifying glass then entering a search phrase such as "Color Dark Skin" or "Colour Dark Skin.". I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for or close to it. Good luck!

What do you use beneath your coloring page to protect the page from transfering ink?. I use white computer paper is that what you use??

How do you decide what colors to use on what?

So beautiful...I bought the prismacolor verithin pencils..can you tell me if there is a difference between the soft colour pencils and the verithin? I mean are the soft color pencils more pigmented? Thank you for the beautiful tutorials. You are an inspiration. I bought 3 colouring books after watching you. :-)

some times you color from light to dark colors( the sky,the grass) and sometimes from dark to light colors (the cloths,the berries).. how di you decide which technic would be the best?

I love your sense of colour, have you studied colour theory or is it instinctive?

It is magnificent! I try to do it but it shows the layout of the pencil and I do not like it. I'm going to try again with my new prismacolor pencils.
