David, Tommy teaches it on Tommy Wonder's Visions of Wonder Volume 3 "AMBITIOUS CARD PLUS RING BOX". Tommy says the routine is Dai Vernon's Ambitious Card from Stars of Magic. Even Vernon didn't recognize it. I perform it with John Kennedy's Mystery Box, 3 D version.Unlike Tommy's ring box, the prop can be fully examined.

Tommy Wonder's ambitious card routine, Ambitious Card to Ring Box (ending with card in the box) can be found on World's Greatest Magic - Ambitious Card, which can be purchased as a download or DVD at your favorite magic shop.... there are a number of ambitious card routines in that set and Tommy Wonder's is the last. His and Harry Lorayne's are my favorite ambitious card routines on that DVD.

It looks great! It looks like Tommy Wonder's version of the mystery box I used when I was young. People seem to prefer transparent boxes these days(like Vision box), but it's nice to see that it looks classic.

Another nice review David - thank you for putting in so much time and effort into this channel. My opinion on this is that it’s waaaaay too expensive. I bought a version 1 Kennedy Mystery Box around 30 years ago - very very similar wood look AND it can be examined afterwards. More recently, Joao Miranda’s Vision Box 2.0 is a lot less pricey than this AND it can also be examined afterwards as it’s so clever. Just my thoughts and opinion. I’d be interested to know your thoughts on this product versus the alternatives I described? Understood that this is a collector’s piece, but still seems very very overpriced to me.

yes, Tommy Wonder’s uses a different fold. And the card in this box is folded in a smaller packet . So to use this gimmicked card that comes with the box you have to perform T. Wonders version of Mercury fold. Maybe you can change the ‘gaffed’ card?
