Agreed

I highly recommend Flite. I find it much better placing the gimmick in your pants front pocket when wearing a jacket. Completely invisible and much more natural to take your keys from your pants front pocket than the back pocket. Buy with confidence!

I had a few ring flights, liked the effect not the methods. Over the years I changed my magic. I never do gigs, it's not my profession, it's my hobby, and I perform when I feel like it and a good moment arises. So to keep things light I have a EDC, and that one is so organic as possible..Most of the stuff I have on me normally are adapted for magic. So this version is always on me, I love it. ( I'm a jacked guy) So I use it as my normal keyrings. It's organic tricks like this that I have a beautiful hobby that always travel with me.

As soon as this came out I placed my order. When I received it I was so impressed with how simple it was and the loading of the ring is insanely simple and fast. This is one of those effects that come out that go directly in act/walk around. Thank you for an amazing review as always.

I love Flight! I actually seriously use it as my everyday keyring with my car key and everything on it and it has held up for months now! The funny thing about the pants issue is that not one single pair of pants that I own have a smooth back pocket so I have to do the little card fix that he shows us in the video every time I decide to use it in that manner. That's not at all a big deal though. I wish they showed more ways to use it in the video as I still very much consider myself a beginner magician and sometimes still struggle to come up with creative performances on my own. For the money it is truly awesome and is such a quality, durable, and simple gimmick, and is a very powerful, easy, and smooth trick to perform.

Hi David! I know this is an old video to comment on now, first of all, big fan of yours!! Thanks a lot for all these informative reviews. *So, I have to choose between this, (Flite) and Pro-Flite by Nick Einhorn, I think that one teaches a more fleshed out routine and gives you more options, however I’ve heard from people that Flite is the fastest load ever, so could you kindly help me with this one?! Which out of the two will be better considering practicality of walk around magic?*

I think this just may be the trick of the year! Great instructions multiple live performances, but that being said as with all ring flites, casual examinations should be placed on all add copy. I own this, the prop dog ring flite , and departure. And everyone, even prop dog there is a chance the method could be discovered. My prop dog broke while I tried to repair it and I never sent it in for the warranty(kudos to that warranty though big up prop dog) and has sat busted in my case. I’ve bought a few departures over the years, due to loss and one breakage. This ellusionist release is my favorite method! I sit and walk round with my Flite in the get ready and haven’t had any issues. But every time I take a seat I am aware there is that chance, so far so good. The one negative I found was sometimes the gimmick shown in the trailer is not the gimmick you get, Tom has added a belt loop clasp to the key ring to help hide some things you will have to add this yourself. I think it’s sort of obvious how this works but I highly doubt any layman would catch on. Even though you can see in the full vid some audience management I think it is super worth it to have the spec hold your keys for a while before the reveal. Seems like if you have a really decent vanish stall like a hanky or I use a piece of flash paper with a smaller piece twisted up inside...buying that time would make this play huge. Flite is easily the best option. I have both.

Whats the difference between the pro version?

Notwithstanding pants, can you have your keys on the table and just grab them and get away with the load?

Your reviews are great! I wish I found your channel sooner. This trick is great. Unfortunately it is quite fragile (one of the rings broke off only after a few days of owning it) so wouldn’t recommend using as your real keyring.

I still have ring flight pro by prop dog and I would argue it is still the best ring flight to date. It’s also a realistic key chain and key fob set. That’s just my opinion. I hear what your saying David but despite your review and how easy it is to load I will still stick with my prop dog ring flight pro because I’m so used to it and I’ve been using it forever

Negatives... some pants won't work... UNLESS you construct a simple gimmick. Try gluing two plastic cut cards together outjogged with the bottom open. That slips over your back pocket and allows flite to load very easily.

Ellusionist seems to be now defunct. Going to their site now returns "This website is no longer available. Make sure you've typed in the correct website address and that your internet connection is active" I just received Flite, but can't access the instructional video. I see how it works, but would have liked a few tips on the handling. Got this in an email from Brad Christian yesterday, October 30, 2020. "Brad here, I just wanted to send you a quick email. This is all I'm comfortable saying for now. 20 years ago, to this day, I locked myself in a one-bedroom apartment in San Francisco and was furiously working on Ellusionist's launch after service. I was a waiter at the time. I'd taken a bank loan and some private investment, risking it all to make my dream a reality. Over the last 20 years, there's been incredible highs and incredible lows - but it was all worth it. It's Friday, so I don't want to take up too much of your time, I just wanted to say a quick thank you as I take a trip down memory lane. Your support over the last 2 decades has meant the world to me. Sincerely, thank you Brad Christian Founder of Ellusionist.com" Don't know what to think, except he has quit. After watching your video, I purchased this trick. It is poorly made. The gimmick is so sharp that it not only catches on but made a tear in my pants. I will only be able to use it if I can get it to a shop where they have the right tools and fix the gimmick. I don't recommend this.
