Only an hour away from the rolling plains and the iconic Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls, Idaho, you wouldn’t think there would be snow let alone anything decent to backcountry ski. You’d be wrong. While Magic Mountain ski area isn’t high in altitude, it does get more than 200 inches of snow annually.
