    @@moderaterevolution504 it's still working great, we probably do about 10 loads a month give or take with no signs of it slowing down. the lint filter is sort of falling apart on one of the edges is the only thing. As long as you make sure not to overload it, and clean out the filters regularly these little washers should probably give us many years of great service. I repeat don't overload it, if it gets overloaded it will eventually mess it up.

I also purchased the 3 yr warranty for $34. Btw, the price for the 2.0 was $270 and the 3.0 was $475 (Amazon) See links below. Be sure to refresh the pages daily to see if it came back in stock. Can you tell me how the spin cycle is.....does it dry them to about 75-80% and is it quiet? Does the washer shut off filling up the water on its own or do you have to watch the water level? My apartment does not allow washer and dryers but I’m sick of my nasty tenants leaving crap in the washer and dryers or taking my clothes out before I can even get down there to transfer from washer to dryer. Plus I’m trying to save $60 a month in laundry because it’s $4 for one load to wash and dry, more if the dryer doesn’t dry all the way. I had an off brand portable washer but the spinner didn’t work and it was too involved....I had to watch the water level, drain it in a bucket because I didn’t have the adjustment to hook up to my faucet. Plus, even after three rinses, after hang drying, my clothes were hard. I have an autistic child who did not like that and I don’t either. If you could let me know, thanks!

    under the sink? Or do you mean dripping into the sink? If it wasn’t leaking before I’d first check all connections. Sometime when you remove the aerator there is a rubber washer that comes apart and little bits of it may prevent a tight seal to the adapter so maybe check that as well

    That sounds more like you have a plumbing issue not related to the washer... Make sure your supply lines from the mains to your sink faucet are tight.. I don't know what type of faucet you have but be sure the faucet itself is in good condition.. it could be something is loose or if its a single handle there is a cartridge within the faucet that could have a hairline crack causing water to leak along the base and under the sink.. There could be a lot of reasons for a leak to be happening under the sink... If i had to guess i would think that a supply line under the sink may be leaking.. But i doubt its caused directly by the washing machine..

  • @yeslawrence

    It's very quiet compared to a front load washer, and also more quiet than a full size top load. The gentle cycle seems to be the most quiet but spins the clothes dry at a lower speed so they come out more damp compared to the heavy cycle, which spins faster and is thus louder. To make it more quiet you could maybe use "anti vibration dampeners" - they have them specifically for washers... Sorry to hear about the horrible neighbor! Hope they snap out of they grumpiness soon!

  • @yeslawrence

    @yeslawrence

    4 жыл бұрын

    yes, i actually looked into this because I was thinking of taking it on an extended RV trip. It uses a lot of water though for each cycle, maybe not compared to a regular washer but its still a lot by bucket. I'd guess about 4 gallons for wash and another 4 for each rinse for a small load, and maybe double that for large. It's a little tricky the machine won't start washing or rinsing until it senses there is enough water in the tub, and just make sure to hit pause when u add the water, otherwise it beeps at you whenever the lid is open. And some of the wash programs have multiple rinse cycles It might take a little bit of a learning curve to figure it all out, but I can assure you that it will do it because I've done it before by just pouring water into it. Also if you use a natural detergent maybe u could use the drain water to water the lawn or landscape.

    Can I hook it up to the shower instead of a sink? Hose to the shower and drain to the tub?

    theoretically it should work, but you will need different adapter, maybe something like this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pnWfkqWym6SqepM.html you can drain to a tub but the drain hose needs to be higher than the fill level of the washer, otherwise the water will drain out before the washer fills up

    I bought a diverter made by Delta (Handheld Shower Arm Diverter.) around $15 at HD. They are popular because lots of people use a handheld but still want the regular shower head. You will then need the brass adapter to go from the shower hose size threads to garden hose size. (Everbilt LFA-668 is the one I bought) You can also use a quick connect instead of that adapter.

    I have run hot water in it for probably close to 50 loads at this point and have not had any problems but I do change to cold after the wash cycle otherwise it will rinse with hot water too

    A couple of questions for any users out there. 1) can you keep the sink on the whole time and the washer uses what it needs? 2) if I put the drain hose in the sink can I leave it unattended for the whole washing cycle?

    usually after the load is completely done, but you have to wait a few minutes before removing the hose from the sink, otherwise water WILL SPRAY out... TBH I haven't figured out a great way to disconnect the hose after using it, I disconnect the sink end first and try to empty out any water that remains in it by shaking it. I put a towel by each connection when I release/unscrew them, since some water still comes out.

    You don’t mention a lint trap for the end of the hose. You can’t really see the lint coming out in the water but it’s there and it will mess up your pipes if you don’t keep it out. They are only a couple bucks at Lowe’s.

  • @yeslawrence

    The rinse cycle on mine fills up the washer with water, then agitates the clothes for a few minutes and then drains it. My moms top load washer (different brand) will sprinkle water on the clothes while they are spinning during the rinse cycle.
