After all of the dark and experimental synthpop of 2010s, Mercurial World brings excitement to synthpop again. From now, world is a good place again, i guess?

The arrangement is so damn lush on this tune...so many instruments and layers of harmony....you can feel the passion in this creation 💟💟

The chorus's chord progression and groove are awesome.

Another song that I love and adore, is incredible the references and the vibes of the song to bands that sounded at the beginning of 2000 like The Cardigans, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Kilye Minogue, Madison Avenue, Gwen Stefani among others; melodious voices with pretty poppy synth sounds, I love it ❤️❤️❤️

Words can't really fully describe what they make me feel through their music and visuals. I've never experienced anything else like it. Pink floyd, Yes ect. have blown me away, but this is just so magical and stress relieving, where those bands are not as much. Mag bay fill a special void in my heart that nothing else has and for those few moments, I experience levels of joy that I thought was unobtainable. The stress relief is cathartic and I'm so grateful for their hard work and love they put into their art.

their music really does sound like liquid joy!! pure euphoria. Pink Floyd is incredible, but sometimes the emotions that their songs bring up can be complicated. Magdelena Bay is a one-way ticket to happiness.

That hook is my favourite one this year and I can't believe the album as a whole hasn't blown up more than it did. Well, doesn't matter! It's playing on repeat ever since I first listened to it and I can't wait to hear more from MB.

Unbelievably good songwriting and production on this. One of my favorite records in years and this tune really just grabbed hold of me. So many great things about it but the lyrics are probably my favorite part - just so unexpected and yet perfectly paranoid, wonderful contrast with the the carefree melody.

This song has brought me so much joy.

Easily one of the coolest music videos I’ve ever seen

I just got into Magdalena Bay and I have to say, Mercurial World comes in pretty securely as one of my favourite albums of all time. The flow from song to song makes the whole album one fluid listening experience, which is my favourite way to listen to albums. Almost every song stands out as fantastic by itself, but the cohesiveness of the album adds another level to the enjoyability. Hysterical Us is my favourite off the album, but man is it a close competition.

The song and the video feels like a child's imagination come to life I love it

Wasn't sure how I felt about this one on the first listen, but now I'm addicted to it. Damn you Magdalena Bay and your never-ending stream of absolute bangers!

I'm on the older end of the gen Z, if you don't mind me saying, i hear so many retro pop/rock/synth music and influences in your refreshing uniqueness. I hear everything from Little River Band, Jeff Lynne, Frank Zappa, Kylie Minogue... List is endless then you add another 20 dimensions! I'm very grumpy about modern pop music and you smash through all of that. So yeah I am a massive fan approaching 50 years old.
