to the haters: every technique has its place. Said is truly a master of egyptian tabla, and the fact that he is coordinated all these drummers into an orchestrated troupe has substantially elevated the level from that of street players. Have you ever tried to organize a group of drummers??? constantly banging on things.... its near impossible... cheers to him !

in all the live derbakeh playings in weddings and concerts that i have seen at home, this beats them alll. this s amazing man. even the girl who at first tried so had to say a couple of sentences inarabic she was pretty talented. Kabeer ya tangelati :)

The sounds are verry clean and i know this is the arabic style. Turkish style is more complicated and i personally thing a better style for the darbuka. You can compare it by checking a video of LEVENT YILDIRIM.

فيه يلي افضل منه بمليون مرة

جرى ايه يا طبال *الهنا* ماتتكلم بفكر شويه انت شغال لحساب مين بالظبط. في كل لقاء على الهوا تعمل دعاية للطبله اليوناني أو التركي ماتعلمتش شوية وطنيه خالص في بيتكم ولا حتى في المدرسه ولكن هانقول ايه.. اده ايه حاربنا وفهمنا صناع الطبل في مصر لمجرد نقشهم النجنة الإسرائيلية على الطبله المصرية بدون تفكير علي الانتاج الوحيد الذي ليس له منافس رغم كل المحاولات الجنونيه لاختلاسه.. للعلم أشهر طبالبين تركيا يفتخروا بطبلتهم المصريه لانهم حتى الآن لم يتوصل الي نسب مقاييس الإنتاج المصري من حيث طول السلاح وقطر الشنبر والوزن دلطبله الاسكندراني طبعا. بعد انقراض الطبله الفخار والتي كانت دائما بصحبة وسيلة لتدفئة جلد السمك اللي كان بييجي من جنوب الصعيد.. ان مصيبه الانفتاح بتاع السادات لم تسلم منها حتى صناعة الطبله المصريه التي رقص على رناتها جميلات الراقصات في العالم شرقا وغربا.. ياراجل شوية وطية مطلوبين لحماية ولاد بلدنا الشهرة لاتعني الوعي.. فهنا المشهرر حمو بيكا لا يزية عنك ثقافة كما يبدو.. تصاحبك لعنات صناع الطبل في *شارع محمد علي* لما اقترفته في حقهم ولا عزاء لمن يستضيفوك في وسائل الإعلام لجهلهم مثلك تماما بما يسمى الوطنيه التي يجب أن يتنفسها المواطن من المهد إلى اللحد... للايقاعات عالم لاحدود له في الأوزان ومهارة عازيفيها وليس فقط خبط ورزع وكذلك الإله كل منها لها موطنها وطبلتنا ستظل مصرية مهما غفل المتحزلقون..
