Because that was when white men were at the top of everything. It was around the time of the civil rights movement (1954-1968) and before the women’s lib movement (60’s, 70’s). Somehow they’ve decided it’s more Godly and better for the people if there’s a hierarchy and they’re running it.

I always thought most people choose to be decent neighbors and citizens by the time they’re in their 20”s, if not before. Not many employers would put up with all the lying and smear tactics while refusing to do their job. 🤨
