They're not, their supposed relationship, Michael and Lauren, they just made it seem like there would be something there but there's not and the whole thing is super boring

Austin and beautiful roommate have co-inhabited for years, and they are still not a pair. Probably reflecting how "slow" Austin is and how long Becca could have to wait before he is into her.
